Yes there is even talk that Oduduwa himself was a bini prince named Ekaledarhan whose ancestor Igodo was the first King of the Ogiso dynasty...That dynasty ended when the prince fled west and by dint of enterprise and invention became the Ooni of Ife,he even refused to come home when a team of bini chiefs led by Chief Oliha beseeched him instead Oduduwa sent his son Oronmiyan to take his place in the throne of his forefathers but ofcourse Oronmiyan was denied that opportunity and was refused entrance into the city thus he was only able to leave an heir via the first daughter of Oliha...that heir became the first Oba of Benin and Oronmiyan left with recriminations and hounded Oduduwa at Ife before migrating north to found a photocopy empire called Oyo....
