Pidgin is a creole language if you don't know much about something don't respond. It is spoken in many countries around the world: Seirra leone as Krio(95%), some parts of Cameroon, Nigeria, Papua New guinea(Toks pisin), and Ghana. The language is widely spoken in the West indies, and even in some parts of America as Gullah.

The Internet is available for research, use it.

Lol, this is funny- coming from someone telling me on how to utilize the www.
Nigerian pidgin English isn't even a creole (at least not yet) .... and it isn't comparable to Sierra-Leonian creole and the rest which are spoken as native languages by the populations that speak them.
A creole is a language, a pidgin isn't a fully fledged one yet....
get ur facts right.

I think ur not quite right sir. D Nigerian Pidgin is a Pidgin to some people while its a creol to some. Creol is a derivative language spoken as a first language while a pidgin is mostly spoken as an informal means of communication. There are people in Nigeria who can't speak their native language but who grew up speaking pidgin as a first language and only learnt to speak english in school, to those people, d Nigerian pidgin is a creol.

Most Nigerians Speak their native languages at home.
There is a reason why it still has no legal/functional status in any part of Nigeria .... It simply hasn't become a creole .

u said most so what of those who can't speak their native languages ? If u grew up in south south especially warri and Port Harcourt u'll understand how pidgin is some people's first language. And this is not my opinion its based on linguistic studies
