Lol. Erosion has devastated most of the land they could have used for farming. Besides, their lands in those parts are not that fertile for farming purposes compared to other parts of Nigeria.
erossion devastated the ir lands because ur government hate them so much that the government cannot construct common erossion prevention parterns for them.........there in the Niger delta the government condemned their fertile soil with oil and yet cant help them out
so i ask u now....which land do u suppose they should use?.....abi na dat 10,000 hectres of land for ur papa backyard?

Biafrans dey shout "seccession, seccession, seccession!!"

How many major FARMS do they have in the South-east??

Now that brings to question the issue of self-sustainance.

Or do they still want to depend on Caritas and "The Corridor" again??

Food for Thought....

just give me one reason you don't want them to go??

Op Abeg make I ask o.

So the food basket of the nation BENUE STATE no get mega farms abi.

And are u guys really saying all those over size farms in OGOJA CROSS RIVER STATE. And the rice plantations in Eboni state and the palm trees farm in enugu, anambra and cross river state are not worth mentioning abi?

I for one know that in River state there are at least three mega farms that are bigger than obj farm.

Or is it because the owners of those farms are not politicians?

Oh really? If na Osun state your people would have been blaming the state governors for not being ingenious and creative enough to solve the problem instead of waiting on the FG. So why couldn't/can't the SE governors take the bull by the horn and do something drastic to arrest the situation instead of waiting on the FG? ?

Bro, the list was compiled by Leadership newspaper. You'll notice that others have been adding their own mentions to the list, so add the ones you are aware of on CR, Benue, Enugu, Ebonyi or anywhere else in Nigeria. We are all here to learn.

Who owns Chi farms Ajanla?

If you mean the one in Ibadan, I think someone earlier mentioned that it is a subsidiary of CHI LIMITED (makers of Chi Exotic, which is owned by Indians).
