My brother the way Pay TV is insulting us is really annoying. I wanted to buy a 3 meter dish but my landlord is already complaining of the 1.8m am using. I have decided to start making savings for my personal house. I love satellite TV and space has being my restraint.

we are on the same page, its quite frustrating couple with power failure, u will spend money to subscribe, u won't have electricity to watch what u pay for, u start buying fuel to power ur gen, so the cost of fuel+cost of subscription+the cost of nepa bill=too much

What I see there as regards big dishes doesn't tally with what people post here.

To put it straight, am not talking of high profile areas but I go to getto areas like Munshin, Isolo, Oshodi and Egbeda and I see 2.4 up to 4M dishes littered in various streets and I can't really correlate the feelers here.

What I observed was that they plant a long pole up to that roof level and mount it on a platform at that level either close to the fence or in front of the house where compound space is small.

When I saw odilibe's dish hanging on high up in the sky I said to myself ,this is a true FTA enthusiast.
Its probably the highest I have seen.

Well after all that is said, those who can should venture while those who can't, should subscribe or better still keep hoping..

but bros have you forgotten big dishes doesn't come cheap?and we here in SS need at least 4m to enjoy fta,it's a shame,i just pray and hope that one day odilibe will pm me to come and carry his own

Abeg o, MBC channels are free on 7e but all of them shows no Audio/Video because the VPID, APID and PPID are all 0000. Can someone help please?

For BUD's in lagos?. Mostly indians , or lebanese. If na for Oshodi or mushin , 90% are owned by Landlord or their sons who runs viewing centres business. With them, because of the longrun interest accrued over years as compared to D**v...
If tenant mount more than 1.8m dish?, den the landlord is either dead or a lover of fta or football too, if not
Na house rent increament sure pass.

Bro, sorry to sound as a disappointment but u can't get MBC FTA on a 60cm dish. Ur best bet is either Nilesat or Badr and it will require a bigger dish size.

. if you have hd or mpeg 4/dvbs2 then u can trak amos5 freq.11882v sr.27500& freq.11024h sr.3321and be sure the signals are 62% and 70% respectively then ontop of that use a second lnb to track multi tv freq. 127522v; sr 27000 on top righ side when standing behind ur dish.

i can't find amos 5 on my satellite...am only seeing amos 2,3.

my dish pole is not that tall just about 16.5ft from about a 30cm (height) squared concrete on top of about 15ft building,but a ladder was welded on the pole to climb the dish in case where necessary to service the jack ..etc!...just to reduce blocking of some satellite mainly Intelsat@68.5east..by a one storey (duplex) building!..by this pole mount dish won't take much space on the ground etc.
