How much is flight ticket, train etce since my first place is France and then fly to London much later, do I calculate my flight ticket from just France to London or Lagos to London? Pls am waiting ohh. Thanks.

3. My Husband is my sponsor. He has about 2.7m closing balance. He wants to state that he spends about 500pounds which is abt 125k per month. Its just 2 of us for now. Pls is it reasonable enough?

boss please help me out , i have a sister who is applying for france visa, she didnt add letter of introduction and he flight reservation she submitted was already cancelled because its stated in the front page , she made the reservation to submit that same day but she didnt make it , she only wrote her name dawn and submitted the next week , does it really count , thanks and God bless.

Thanks justwise for your response. My monthly salary is 262k but what reflects in my salary account monthly is always higher than that because some casual staffs' (I.T students, cleaners, washers etc) monthly payments are added to my salary so I can withdraw cash and pay them by hand.

Attach your payslip since it shows the actual monthly salary and use the space in the to explain the differences in your salary account just like you did here

Hello Justwise,newcomer here,pls help me out. Pls, my mum and my sis who is over 20yrs and a masters student will be applying for UK visas. My mum is a frequent flyer to UK n her 5yr visa just expired so she's renewing while my sis has never had a UK visa even though she was refused few yrs ago. They would be using my mum's statement of account and also an invitation letter that has both dre names.

1.Is it possible they put their application together like a family application? Bear in mind that my mum ll be applying for 2 yrs and my sister 6months. Can they just print out a copy of the statement?

2.My mum is a business woman and she got all her previous visas together with my dad who is now late(died early this year). My dad(he was a biz man too)used to serve as the sponsor for them both then and they use his property docs as supporting docs. Hope she can still use the docs for her n my sister's application now?
3. My bro in the UK would be having a surgery and the hospital has given him an invitation letter for my mum n sis. He therefore transferred funds into my mum's account to show he will be responsible for dre travelling expenses. My sis will also print her personal account to show her monthly allowances. Do u think we are on track as regards this application?

My question is --how do we answere the question that says 'how much is available for your trip' do we calculate how much we will spend altogether for the whole trip I.e from Lagos to France then to UK (return) or we just calculate and state how much it will cost us from France to UK only?
Our flight from France to UK ia abt 200Euro,(return for 2) hotel in London is 393 for 4nights. Feedind is abt 72pds for 4 days apart from transportation within London.

Applying for 10 years visa will save her a lot of money at the end, visa fees increases yearly so she will save that for 10 years.

Flight reservation is not a requirement for visa application, so, it wouldn't have counted had she not made any reservation. But now that she had made an invalid reservation, and had presented it in her application, that action may now come into question.
Note: Itinerary does not necessarily means flight reservation, it means the the travel arrangements that you have put in place, such arrangement might be transportation plans whilst in the country, activity plans, tour guides etc.

You are applying from Nigeria, therefore, it is reasonable to write the total cost of the entire trips from Nigeria.

btw ogreene, it seems processing time varies. Im sorry i gave you wrong info regarding faster processing time in Ikeja. It was the trend on the thread at the time.

They havent even updated my application to decision made, thats why i havent bothered. Most people on this thread get their passports back after 6 calendar days. i will wait till next monday before i go. Fuel is scarce.

She works in ministry of agriculture. 1) letter of employment, 2)leave letter, 3)shares certificate, 4)marriage certificate, 5)account statement of 2.1m. 6) travel insurance. 7) hotel reservation. Confirmed. Because I called the hotel myself I have forgotten other things she submitted. She has being to dubai last month and spent only one week. She has already submitted the application before she noticed her flight reservation was cancelled. But its from airfrance Web. It's getting to one month no call from or text from France embassy. My friend said if they don't call or text after 10 days it means the person has being rejected. Sir is it true? Thanks

Not necessarily true, it means (perhaps) there are some checks in progress especially if the application is complicated

@jlo4ever, don't make the mistake of putting your total savings amount as monthly income drone investments. They are asking of how much interest accrues to you on a monthly basis from your savings. They want to be able to analyze your bank statement appropriately.

As for treasury bills, put the difference between the face value and value at maturity divided by the number of months you held it. Then explain in the additional info that it is a treasury bill and you will receive it at maturity. Include your treasury bill certificate. Remember that the treasury bill will not be part of amount available to you for your trip except if it will have matured before the trip.

Most visit visa submitted in VI are sent to Sheffield but it seems to be fast now cos i submitted my documents Friday 10th July and got an email from Sheffield Saturday 18th July that a decision has been made on my application so i am just waiting hopefully by next week i should be asked to come i pick up my passport & 2 years visa . Everyone seems to be used VI cos of the 18k extra fee in Ikeja so i might take over 2 weeks to get available appointment date for VI. I waited 2 weeks...submitted online form/payment 29th June and only available date was 10th July.
