@Vicjustice and oda gurus in the house.
U guys are doing a great job here, please I have a question and I'd appreciate response asap thanks.

I have received my admission letter to study in bulgaria. My question are:
My dad friend(family friend) wants to sponsor me, so I want to know if its advisable becoz my dad dosent have d finance to sponsor me.

Secondly, one of the requirements required was "ORIGINAL documentd of property of sponsor/company of sponsor"
Am really confused here, am thinking of presenting d Original with photocopies then I'd submit d photocopies and take back d Originals!!

Please I'd appreciate your reply and advice
I will be submitting my documents for visa next week.

The question that you should be more concerned about are these:
1) Is the sponsor your own parent?
2) If no, why is he sponsoring you and what would he gain by sponsoring you?

People in your kind of circumstances are 99.9% refused, this is your "clue" of what would likely happen to you...
Things are easier when done orderly.

I am in a similar dilemma and would like to appeal on the grounds of frequent traveller. I travelled 3 times last year. US, Turkey and Tanzania

i submitted 3 passports (current and 2 expired passports) showing all my previous visas and travel stamps.

@vicjustice please advise me, i still travelled to the US in Dec14 and came back in Jan15 (i travelled with my other sister to visit my last sister who resides in Florida), i don't understand why it's Norway i will now emigrate to. it isnt my 1st visit or 1st US visa either

@royal1989 how did your appeal go?

thank you
Vicjustice:

On what ground are you appealing the decision?

royal1989:

please i need your urgent reply; i was recently denial a norway vocational resident permit on the following grounds:

the directorate of immigration believes that the applicant does not have the necessary ties to his country of origin in order to be granted a permit.

the applicant comes from a country with great potential for emigration.reference is made to the economic and social conditions in the applicant's home country. further, the applicant is young, unmarried and without children.

the applicant has not documented a particular connection to norway.

please i plan to appeal the case but i do not know to go about this

Dear Vicjustice,

I will be applying for student visa very soon where Mummy is my sponsor. She's a business woman with unregistered company, the bank account is in her name with good inflow and outflow of cash, mostly I do the deposit in my name.

Please, my question now is that the business is not registered and the VO may ask for Business certificate, is this not a red flag ? How will I proof that the business exist? How will I proof the source of income of my sponsor ( My mother ). And if the business is registered overnight just because of the interview might look suspicious.

Please, I really need your reply. God bless you.

Such business is deemed illegitimate and therefore is disqualified

Thanks for your response. But we have different types of company in Nigeria. This falls under " Sole Trade " which it doesn't necessarily need to be registered before operating.

Any business.that "doesn't.need to be registered" can not be used for visa application as there is no tax record for evaluation purpose

I was refused study visa to Canada
The things highlighted by the embassy were:
Travel history (but I haven't gone anywhere).
Family ties in Canada and in country of residence.
Purpose of vist (Applied for study visa, had admission and had paid part of the fees).
Current employment situation.
Personal assets and financial status.
The visa officer states, I did not satisfy him that would leave Canada at the end of my stay due to these reasons.

Please has anyone experienced this and what can I do to rectify this because I plan to reapply Soon

You can apply again whenever you are ready, but the question is what have you now done differently to give them the impression that you will return to Nigeria before your visa expires?

Thanks

A business is expected to be registered for a least period of one year in order to allow for evaluation through tax record.

You sold your property and put the money in your pocket, and you are asking me what document to show as evidence?
Well, the property must have been sold with document... but then, it is not the money from the property sale that matters, what matters more is the method of fund accumulation as displayed in your bank statement: the property sale can only be a support...

Thank you sir.... Another question, if applied for any schengen visa, and no biometric capturing nor visa refusal was stamped on on your passport, would there be any information that the person was denied or has once applied for schengen visa before?

Thanks

There is what they call Schengen Information System (SIS) which functions in every country that implements the Schengen Treaty Agreement, and by this system, any Schengen country can see your record once your name and date of birth are entered into their computer.

Thank you, sir. That means your information might have entered Schengen Information System EVEN though you didn't do a biometric nor having denial stamp on your passport ?

It is not a "might", it is a MUST. Your information is in the Schengen Information System (to be accessed by any Schengen implementing country) even though you neither did bio-metric nor have refusal stamp on your passport.
Understand that the reason that they did not stamp your passport or take your Bio-metric is because, they have you in their more efficient Schengen Information System (the SIS). So, if you are concerned that they would see your visa application record, you are right, they will definitely see it.
