Recruitment into the Nigerian Army

74 Regular Recruits intake 2015 for Trades/Non Tradesmen and Women.
This is to in for the general public and all interested qualified candidates that the online application for the 74 Regular Intake for both Trades/Non Tradesmen and Women will commence on 30th July 2015 and end on 12th September 2015.

Method of Application

Interested candidates are to:
*Apply online at the recruitment portal www.narecruitment.org which will open by midnight today, Wednesday 29th 2015
*Log on to the above mentioned link using the username and password.
*Complete the application form, submit online and print a copy. Then, print and complete the guarantor form as appropriate.
*Come along to the designated examination and recruitment centres with copies of application and guarantor forms.

Basic qualification

Applicants must:
*Posses a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. One of the credits must be in English language
*In addition to the above qualification, those applying as tradesmen/women must also posses OND/Trade Test/City and Guild Certificate. Details are available on the website
*Be between the ages of 18-22 years for non tradesmen/women while tradesmen/women must be between the ages of 18-26 years by 1st june
*Not be less than 1.65 metres and 1.56 metres tall for male and female candidates respectively.

The Nigerian Army reserves the right to prosecute any individual or group found to have fraudulently gained access to this site or information contained in it. Applicants are therefore advised to obtain their e-Vouchers directly through this portal www.narecruitment.org or buy paper vouchers from the designated banks.



74RRI Enlistment steps



Step 1: Purchase PIN: Buy Voucher Online or from any branch of the designated banks.



Step 2: PIN Registration: Enter your Voucher Serial Number and PIN and click Next button.



Step 3: If your PIN is valid, select your preferred Application Category and create an account on the portal.


Step 4: Complete the Application form and Print a copy of your form. Note: You can log in to the portal at any time with your Serial Number and Pin. Make sure you retain your voucher.



Step 5: Visit this website from 19 Sep 2015 to confirm if you have been shortlisted for the Pre-Screening Examination.



Step 6: Take part in the Pre-Screening Examination on 26 Sep 2015 at the centre you had chosen when completing the application form.



Step 7: Visit this website for the list of successful candidates for the Zonal Screening Exercise.



Step 8: Take part in Zonal Screening Exercise from 19 Sep 2015 at the designated Zonal Centres for your state of origin.

**SUITABILITY**

*Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth.

*All Applicants must attend zonal screening exercise at the designated zonal centres for their respective states.

*Non-Tradesmen & Women Applicants must be aged between 18 - 22 years by October 1, 2015.

*Tradesmen & Women Applicants must be aged between 18 - 26 years by October 1, 2015.

*Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.65 meters tall for male and 1.56 meters for female.

*Applicants must be free of any Criminal conviction.

*Applicants must submit all duly completed form (printed from this online portal) at the screening

The Printed forms shall be accompanied with the following documents:

Photocopies of Birth Certificate/Age Declaration.

Photocopies of academic and professional Certificates.

A duly completed and signed Guarantor's form (printed from this on-line portal).

Applicants shall be required to produce the originals of all certificates/Credentials.

Any applicant suspected to have impersonated, manipulated or submitted false documents shall be disqualified during or after training. Such an applicant shall also be handed over to the Police for Prosecution.

Candidates whose pictures are not submitted electronically will not be considered for shortlisting.

The Nigerian Army shall not entertain any enquiries in respect of applicants whose applications are rejected or failed to meet the selection criteria.

NON TRADES MEN/WOMEN

The cases of insurgency in Nigeria will discourage people. No one wants to die. But the attention of the populace should be directed to the fact that not all Soldiers go to the war fronts. You can work as tradesman/woman.

Nigeria na wa. Serving in your country's military is supposed to be a thing of pride. Answer me this? Why are they charging people money to serve in an occupation that pretty much determines that your life is forfeit when the need arises? In sane countries they are giving monetary bonuses to applicants for enlistment. In Nigeria the country is collecting the bonus from applicants. Una do well.
