Ralphlauren:

for no 10, i will fill in ZERO. nobody is giving her money.
The question is "what is the total amount in £? (including money that others may be giving you?)
So i think his answer: "flight+living exp+ hotel =£1600" is ok.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by OGreene: 8:47pm On Aug 18, 2015
Even if you get them to remove the course fee from the total amount you stated for the budget, it STILL WON'T DO!

They hv the upper hand here; tho I don't like telling ppl not to try what is on their mind, your point of argument is very weak. Then again, you are free to decide what to do now. Have a solid plan.

nunaija:

It's the same training. I didn't change the training. I applied early this year. That was my first refusal. I deferred the admission till November and that's why I'm applying now. I attached the invoice for payment and the ECO still mentioned my course fee in the refusal as if I've not paid for it. Do I have any case?

Thanks for your support!
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by OGreene: 8:52pm On Aug 18, 2015
Maybe.

Is there no way you can defer the training to next year or get part refund?

nunaija:

Yes I stated that I've paid for the course. So you think I should forget about it?

Many thanks

Ok guys i have gotten my 6 months visa from the British High Commission Pretoria yesterday. Out of all the visa applications i have made in my life, This application made for Uk Business Visa was the only one i have made with nothing to worry or no nightmares. i never worried even for one day as to what will be the outcome. it seems easy if you have all supporting documents. initially i used to apply for this visas for my boss here in S.A. But i decided to attach my application this time around. Am thinking also of other countries we do business with . Am grateful to all.

SOS!!!

askari01:

Thanks Ekpotek, you still haven't clarify the question below.. what is the cost of accomodation? The organisation is paying for the Hotel booking... Should I input the value for hotel in the space or I should just leave it as NIL, If I input the total cost of accomodation, the embassy might say the cost to me personally is too small to the total cost . Advise on that pls

Hotel budget, meaning £25 per night? Hmmm, hope u checked dis out.

You hvnt added living expenses to ur budget. So it will automatically be more than that.

Seems u want to re-apply soonest. Pls take time to study your prev applications for some other loopholes. You know we can't see all d details of ur application except the ones you put out on dis platform. Mehn, you want this training so bad...

The answer to #7 should be RELIGION ASSOCIATION/FELLOWSHIP.
You have not logically provided an answer to question #9 which is the most important of all: That is the key question of the application, and the answer that you provide to the question will determine the outcome of the application, it should have to satisfy the Visa Officer.
Please, don't ask me what to answer to that question as that is a question that she and the Church should know the answer to.

Thanks Vicjustice, I was just informed that she's being given a Topic to present during the anniversary, is that a good reason?

This is more realistic budget, but not the only reason for the refusal, so can you convince the ECO that the course is directly linked to your current job and how it will benefit you?

Sure anything can either be a reason or an excuse for visa application: but then, the argument would be, is there no one in the UK who can present the topic?
In this circumstance, the purpose of her visit is not as important as her personal cicircumstances: therefore, everything comes down to the calibre of your aunt who Is the visa applicant, her personal circumstanes would be taking into account

Yes I can. I explained in the application I guess the ECO didn't read it. I will try and be more explicit this time

Advice!
Being explicit should not mean being long winded!
If you want your explanation read and understood keep it to a MAXIMUM of one A4 page of double spaced typing.

If you send pages of long rambling script then it will not be read in detail.

Hi justwise and other gurus in the house. Thanks for everything. I just got my visa. Please, I am looking for an Abuja to Glasgow flight, and the cheapest I saw is emirates, but it is 22 hours via Dubai. British airways is the shortest but is more expensive. Please, is Emirates going to be very stressful, or should I just choose it. Please I really need urgent answers from those that have experience with Emirates and British airways.

Hello Justwise and all,

I am having difficulties paying for my Uk application.

Have even gotten people to use their MasterCard Securecode to process payment and it ends up unsuccessful.

I cant get Securecode from my gtb because they are delaying in uploading my naira ATM card details to my internet banking portal.

Pls is this related to CBN policy of $300 maximum withdrawal? if so how can I go about it.

I went to Teleperformance office in VI and no help there.

You have already made the application, would the answer to your question have any impact on the outcome?
The last thing that you need is to be anxious over an already made application

If you cant afford BA then go with Emirates, the 22 hours is not the main thing but how many hours are you going to spend on transit in Dubai waiting to connect your next flight to Glasgow.

Abuja to Dubai and Dubai to Glasgow will both take like 14 hours so i guess you have 8 hours transit in Dubai.

Its wrong for you to have submitted your application then come here requesting for answers that will either increase or lower your BP grin

Well, your account balance is not the only thing that will determine if you will get visa or not but you took too much risk with 2 years visa fee. grin

Best of Luck
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by iyaaliyah: 6:18pm On Aug 19, 2015
Hello everybody,
I have just been refused visa to the UK. Dunno what to say but I feel my application was misinterpreted or they did not read clearly.
Please, I want you all to look at the reasons and critically dissect same. lollll

1. You stated in your application that you are employed as xxxxxxxxx with xxxxxxx and earn 90,000(289.03pds) per month. You have supplied an employment letter and payslips to support this.

NOTE: I only submitted letter of confirmation from my office and loan application to show the deduction from my account. I didn’t submit employment letter and payslips.

2. You state the cost of this visit to you personally as 1,555 GBP. As evidence of personal funds you have submitted bank statement from:

a. Xxxxxxxx bank for an account in your name with a balance of 367,231.85 (1,179.35). however, I note that there are large and irregular deposits entering the account in addition to your salary. For example between 05/05/2015 and 07/05/2015 (emphasis mine pls) these deposits amounted to N250,000. These deposits are inconsistent with the account history and your stated income.

the underlined: I can’t believe they will expect me not to run my account even as far back as MAY.

b. Xxxxx Bank for an account in your name with a balance of 71,314.27. However, I note that the balance of this account has been significantly inflated by large deposits amounting prior to your application. E.g 820,000 on 11/5/2015, 70,000 on 15/06/15 and 100,000 0n 23/07/15. These deposits are inconsistent with the account history and your stated income.

NOTE: I stated in my application that my job is such that brings me extra income apart from my regular salary and this is paid into my account although it varies. did they not see this additional info?

NOTE again that I stated that my husband is my sponsor. We were both refused and the reasons are:
1. You stated in your application that you are self-employed and earn 300k per month. In support of this you have provided business registration documents, personal tax document and personal xxxxbank statements. However, the documents supplied do not support the xxxxx ltd is a currently trading and profitable organization generating the level of income stated above. From the information on your application form and document you have submitted, you have not shown that your employment and income is as stated.

QUESTION: Pls what does the bolded mean?

2. As evidence of funds you have submitted bank statement from xxxx bank for an account in your name with a balance of N5,432,127.26. However, the documents you have submitted do not sufficiently demonstrate the origin of the funds shown in the bank statements. i am therefore not satisfied that these statements are reliable evidence of your financial circumstances or ability to fund your proposed visit.
NOTE: We planned to visit UK for 5 days from Paris next month and we submitted evidence of accommodation; hotel we booked for the 5days which included free breakfast.

Please, help me check them out. I don’t intend to apply soon but my husband’s friend said we should write a letter to correct some of these issues. What do you ple think please.

this is the second time i will be refused. the last was in 2012. reason is that i did not submit my proof of earning. i submitted now and also stated there in the application to clarify why i did not submit it.

Thank you.

cc: Justwise, Vicjustic, OGreene, Iblaw .pls, make una tell me which way. thanks
