History was made this weekend as a Professor of Computer Engineering from the city of Ekpoma in his early 60’s, Professor Ighalo became the proud winner of N58,945,553, a sum which is undoubtedly the biggest payout in the history of Sport Betting in Nigeria.
This feat he accomplished after having placed bets on same selections (all draws) on 2 different bet slips of different amounts staked (N500, N300). The bet slip the punter staked N300, won for him N22,104,582.75 whilst the 2nd slip on which he staked N500 won for him a sum of N36,840,971.25
