Do i need to remind you that the escalation in syria was caused by the dems in the first place? The fear of mitt Romney attack on being " soft on russia" was the reason why Obama started his " Assad must go " mantra in the first place. I think just figured out what the "problem" with you is.
Deep down, you know America is everything that is wrong with the world. But the patriotic you would only allow you admit that to an extent while attempting to demonize America's remedy (though you try very hard to be objective). Deep down, everyone is atleast a little bit patriotic to their country so I don't see any fault in you.

Just one miscalculation would most likely lead to a big war with how the Iraqi and Syrian air space are crowded with fighter jets from different countries whose interests don't align. The Americans and Arabs gulf sheikhs won't let their billions of dollars worth of investment in ISIS and all these Jihadist groups go to waste like that. Ditto Israel who benefits the most from how unstable these countries are.

Expect a long war - Syria and Iraq are the battlefield for now, and it will most likely move to other countries in Euroasia.

The PKK are fighting ISIS.

The Iranians are supporting the Syrians and Iraqis in fight against ISIS only.

The Russian fighters can't differentiate between ISIS and those rebels fighting Al Assad for freedom means they might end up bombing the government troupe and Al Assad himself with time.
