Hear this Abookie imported to Imo state from far north yawning.

Okorocha won second term because of people's fear that if he failed to come for second term, the projects he deliberately started would rot away.

Okorocha must be telling himself that he is the fastest thinker in his Ideato. But he is pouring sand for garri for future Ideato politicians as far as Orlu zone politics is considered.

Okorocha has amply demonstrated that he has no business with Orlu zone. He has no single business anywhere in Orlu zone, his only house in Orlu, he knocked it down when he was demolishing other houses in Orlu, unlike in Owerri where he has innumerable businesses including hotels, hospitals, private mansion etc.

Okorocha is politically digging his grave as long as Orlu zone is concerned. How can a Governor concentrate virtually all his attention in Owerri. The narrow victory over Ihedioha during last election should serve as a pointer that Orlu people aren't happy with his continuous neglect of the zone to Owerri. I understand that he tried putting Orlu to measure up with other advanced cities with the dualization of major link roads in the city as well as the one linking Orlu township to Akokwa ideato. Still, his decision to focus major projects in Owerri while neglect other areas like Okigwe and Orlu calls for serious concern.

Okorocha is extremely popular in Imo State. It is mainly Anambra people and Mbaise that are crying because Jonathan lost and Okorocha played an important role towards Jonathan's downfall. It is for same reason they hate Amaechi. Amaechi is equally popular in Imo State.

I feel for my Mbaise peeps. Their emotions seem to have been triggered by the false hope that Ihedioha could defeat Okorocha with Jonathan assisted rigging and sponsored by Anambra business men. They should face the reality that Orlu zone is Imo State's North. You can't win an election as a minority using tribalism and hate as campaign. It is the bane of Igbos. You have to reach out to other Nigerians and see them as brothers.
The truth remains that Okorocha's popularity is dwindling unless he comes back to his senses. His close defeat in last election showed the reality on ground.
1) Imolites were tired of his China projects littered in every nooks and cranny of the state. Many of the road now washed away by erosion.
2) One major defect of his first tenure was that he failed to bring major investors to the state. Rather he wasted tax payers money on failed trips to Turkey and other senile countries under the guise of bringing investment.
3) Failure to curtail the rising unemployment in the state.
4) Turning Imo state into his personal property by buying illegally state owned corporations with lies that he was transferring them to private hands. A good example is the fraudulent sale of Ada palm to Roche group. ITC and other state owned establishment.
5) Awarding major state contracts to his incompetent company and that of his loyal boys. Majority of these contracts were inferior.
6) Depriving many contractors of their hard earned money by revoking contracts that had already been started.
7) Awarded many contract to the astonishment of many, yet left them uncompleted. Eg The 24 LGA general hospitals.
6) Promoting his son-in-law and daughter into sensitive positions in government.
7) Owerri became dirty and littered with waste under his watch.

Love your witty comment. But who now checks Anambra if it has given itself the sole mandate to check others. However, we as Igbos shouldn't allow the Nigerian factor of state creation tear us apart. This goes to the likes of Chino and Abagworo who have made themselves defenders and fanatics of their states. These folks forget that we were first Igbos before the artificial state creation. Even, I as an Orlu son share close clanship and affinity with Chino's Uga than even Abagworo's Oguta. Yet, this same Chino has allowed bitter rivalry becloud his sense of reasoning. Rather than outline Rochas failure as Governor or even bash him as an individual, he shamelessly led others to throw vituperation on Imolites. This alone is my grouse.

The most important thing is that the whole Igbo look out for anambra ..I am an anambra man born and bred in Owerri and we are called Owerri nchi isii then married to an Igbo from delta with ikwerre Igbo as an uncle ..how Igbo can a man be apart from me

One has to checkamte and look out for others and I think anambra seems to have taken that position in ensuring that Igbo family is intact and I don't think it is a bad idea

One has to do the yeoman dirty job...it is just very unfortunate it is anambra that chukwu has choosen

Nwanne ighotago

Orlu is even 10 mins drive from my place in Nnewi and chino messed up but I like him..he is a man that is very blunt and IMO people should be and shouldnt be exonerated

Many Owerri people these days wonder why Rochas Okorocha would stay four years in office without any single useful development in his Orlu senatorial zone, instead he struggles with Owerri over land for building the many buildings and other development infrastructures he did only in Owerri.

Orlu people wonder why Rochas would cause so much destruction and damage of the infrastructure already in existence in Orlu when he became governor.

Rochas is preparing himself to become president of Nigeria Lol!!!!

You are smart? You use worse case scenarios to reply to the assertion that Rochas Okorocha refused to do any single meaningful development project in Orlu zone which catapulted him to office;
he rather destroyed much of the infrastructure he met on ground in the zone.
.
And your answer to this is promise to show pictures of states worse than Imo.

Your argument is pointless. Even if I show 50 projects in Orlu zone, you will try to belittle them. So its of no use.

Do you mind that phool called Chinwude. Of course he will have mouth to blab rubbish right now. But he will never see the bad roads that destroyed my car's bottom plate. Of course I shouldnt lampoon Imolites to react. If the nonenity has taken time to go through my posts, he would have noticed that I have contributed to the economy of Imo state more than I did in Anambra. He will never know what I am suffering in my place due to bad roads. Even last week, there was a time there was no light in Imo state for complete 5 days... The whole of Imo. Tell me where that shit happens. The average, honest Imolite knows that everything I wrote is the truth. Chino11 and Abagworo (who I doubt is Igbo) may have their issues in the past. But thats not the purpose of this thread. The thread us simply to let Imolites wake up.

Nwanne you really goofed on this thread! I'm from anambra but I do not like how you made your submission on the good people of Imo! And as for Chino n abagworo. Everyone knows that both are children in old men clothes.

Where and how did I insult Mbaise people? Please don't twist my quotes. Mbaise people were sympathetic with Jonathan and have been bitter about the loss mainly because of Ihedioha. That is no insult my friend. The last election played out the way it did because of tribal politics embarked upon by PDP at both State and national level. You can search for my analysis of the election and notice it took same pattern I predicted.

Igbos declared themselves opponents of other Nigerians hoping they could install Jonathan alone.

Road enlargements of existing roads many of them now worse than what the roads were before Okorocha government came with earth moving machine?

Road expansion is development where infrastructure that requires influx of humans exist. How many cars do you pass driving Orlu-Akokwa road? If Okorocha is brilliant enough, he ought to have first established infrastructure needing influx of humans to Orlu zone and in that Orlu/Ideato area instead of expanding that road.

You are dividing Orlu zone according to your personal wish and not according to reality. Mgbidi, Awo, Oguta, Ohaji, Egbema are all in Orlu zone. So are Ideato North and South, Oru East and West, Orlu, Orsu, Isu, Nwangele, Nkwerre and Njaba. List what is not in Orlu zone

1) IMSUTH, Imopoly, Nursing school Okporo and Amaigbo

2) Oil rich fields at Oguta, Izombe, Awo, Egbema and Ohaji

3) Pharmaceutical industries, Heineken brewery and other wine manufacturers are there.

4) The highest concentration of Rich people in Imo State and one of the highest in Nigeria is in Orlu zone. It is just a matter of investing home in other things other than building duplex.

Good old Abagworo, yes, while Orlu people have to invest in Orlu to bring development to the area, Imo state government under Rochas Okorocha invests more than 90% of his capital development efforts in his dream city, Owerri, to bring development to Owerri - though Okorocha's deputy said Okorocha invested only 75% of his development efforts in Owerri in four years.

Okorocha's dream city, Owerri, has had enough patronage from Okorocha. It's time for the rest of Imo state to get their dividends of democracy.

The not needed flyovers Okorocha has commenced building now in Owerri, infrastructure development in the rest of Imo state may again remain on hold until Okorocha finishes his flyovers in Owerri. Who governs a state the way Okorocha is govering Imo state, like he was elected as Mayor of Owerri Metropolitan city?
