dll errors are mostly game errors. I dont think its a registry problem. A good search on google would go a long way in fixing that, as I cant guarantee that windows 10 will fix it.

Copy and play can only work with old games but if it's a new game it won't work because most new games makes entry into the registry

Soo that's why I've been getting that isdone.dll error
Fifa 15 and bioshock2 I downloaded from kickass
Refused to install due to isdone.dll but the installed on my old laptop so I copied the filed to my new one, the fifa crashes my lapy once I try career and the bioshock crashes my laptop when I try changing button configuration

I pray for the phone makers to seriously come up with a good if not better PC replacement coz the PCs trouble are just too much...when you get a smart phone your are rest assured that for the next one year or more your aren't fixing anything but just imagine me buying a new system for my designs and the first welcome I get is an overheating fault and the next thing I start buying and replacing parts like an assembly plant manager, I'm just fed up of these systems and I seriously pray God inspires Google to match up a PC android or a more serious machinery

I tell you my broda,like the android is comes preinstalled and you will never have any problem with the software unless if bricked by you but these windows,its in fact heart aching that if its not the software you are solving its the hardware in fact do you know its windows is that made virus seems like a bad thing,yessss!!! the virus developers use it for phishing and information extortion not to corrupt any software whatsoever but the windows has no other excuse for their flaws ad they tell u to spend thousands of mb downloading an antivirus and still yet a virus eats up the so called trash of a PC and then the processor comes into the blame play,,,after buying an expensive specs with a more higher processor then they blame It on the motherboard.....to name but a few,its from one problem to the other and I don't even blame these PC engineers,they are just trying to earn a living and even when they know the PC is irreparable they won't tell,rather they make u suffer before you find it out yourself....its disgusting !!!!

Please enumerate the UPGRADE, and don't mention the UI, that doesn't count abeg. What third party app will solve the low RAM issues.

I use a core i5 2.6ghz Intel 4th generation CPU
I don't do heavy graphics as my work is basically remote tech support. I don't have any games installed.

The battery issues, I won't even bother talking about that. In my humble opinion, Windows 10 should have remained in BETA for quite a while, before assulting our senses with their collosal failure. It seems the higher they go, the worse it becomes. I just see Windows 10 as a failed attempt at developing a closed system like Apple, which will never work.

I like the UI, but the performance leaves too much to be desired. Hopefully in 2yrs from now, Windows 10 will finally be an upgrade, for now it's still fancy for someone like me. I UPGRADED back to windows 7 with speed.

Someone should please tell Microsoft that we don't need fancy, we need performance period.

Your complain of low RAM of 6g is a surprise to me. I use 2g RAM and Intel 2.7ghz. My win10 upgrade is working so fine. You may check other causes of your complain but not the RAM functions

Actually, you didn't have sleep mode because during the update, Microsoft un-installed your display driver and installed the Microsoft basic display adapter (which didn't have sleep mode) for you. Then when you connect to Internet, your PC automatically downloads your driver back and give you your sleep mode back.

What may be the cause of this problem? whenever i on my win10 PC in the morning, it will display blank screen with mouse pointer showing. goto "device manager" and check if the driver is properly installed. If not then try installing it.

Were you using it before? if yes what made it to stop?
If you upgraded it, try "roll back driver" in the device manager.

But in a case where by all fail, I'll suggest you upgrade to 8.1. that's the best windows for now. A clean install is advised.

Yes am using it before to browse through Lan wifi,Nokia pc suite,tittering it with my NOKIA E71and moderm ,But it stop suddently when using it to surf the net via Nokia Pc suite&nokia E71 phone,since then the Wifi"wireless"and internet drive refused to switch ON even thought wireless Lan Lead light indicator is all ways On.Thanks For the help i will follow the procedures you have given above.God bless you.

good morning guys, I recently installed Windows 10 as a dual boot with my windows 8, fixed all the driver issues, disabled automatic updates and done every other recommended settings, the problem is despite having done all this, my data still drain (unlike Windows , each time i connect to the Internet with my modem, am still pondering what else is draining my data, apart from this Windows 10 is a sleek os, a fraction faster than my 8, and the best of all runs cooler and games run faster each time am gaming. just need to fix the data draining issue
