Reading the revelations here, I was tempted in my heart to ask Jesus Christ to show me himself like he does to others too. Then I remembered a book I read by Keneth E. Hagin. "How To Be Let by The Holy Spirit" in that book we r told not to ask for manifestations, if not Satan will disgiuse and come like christ, but will lead to hell.

Besides, these brethren sharing their Testimonies here never requested to receive these revelations. The dreams I usually have, I don't ask before they r given.
So the reason am saying this is, someone may feel left out, or feel like they are good Christians but Christ doesn appear to them, then start desiring and praying and fasting that Jesus shd also appear to them. PLEASE, don't ask for visions, dreams, and revelations. Let them just come. Jesus Christ will give u what he knows you need and can handle.

He said HE WILL pour his spirit upon all flesh. Its his prerogative to give to some dreams, to some visions, and to some revelations of different kinds. So pls don't ask. Just serve Him

Also I never believed in such before so I remember blurting once out in ignorance that "so which kain calling of "catching witches" be this and the person laughed and said such is called "deliverance ministry", and like I was told, people have been bequeathed these gifts by the grace of the Holy Spirit to help others be liberated and set free, to help them build their faith further in God, remind them God has not given us a spirit of fear, help them renew their confidence in God and remind them of the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Son of God and the lamb upon the throne...


So what I have learnt over time is that these are topics many people are scared and petrified of talking about, even in private. So it helps to know that they are not alone and that on Christ the solid rock they stand and help them remember jobless Satan and all his foot soldiers have been defeated and are under our feet in the name of Jesus Christ. Just so you know, I have received emails & words from people telling me how this thread is an eye opener, how these experiences we share have charged up their spirit to go back to God and understand spiritual things better. Do you think a person will physically come to you and tell you he's masturbating? You think it's easy. But here people can acknowledge it, people can fight these things based on the word of God. At least nobody has boasted to be highly mature in God as you have boastfully claimed. We are only imperfect people, loved by a perfect God!

You say all we're sharing here are experiences upon experiences... When a person goes to church to share a testimony, can he/she share it without narrating the experience or story? Everything is to the glory of God

There is nothing extra-biblical nor haughty in disposition here, what is being discussed here is a strata of one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit promised us by Jesus Christ in the Gospel of John and this not divinely bestowed for personal gratification but to edifying, exhort and comfort all in the body of Christ. And I am sure loads of people have been contacting the OP offline.

No need getting defensive. First, there is no scripture quoted out of context unless you care to show.
Secondly, that somebody benefitted or claim to benefit does not vindicate you. mellin has a thread on satanism and eastern mysticism and many claim to have benefitted as well. He is also quite active on email and FB spreading his garbage. Compliments don't mean significance FYI.

The scriptures are sufficient by themselves and we don't need these subjective tales to ADD to what Holy Spirit has already revealed.

For that those who have not had YOUR experiences are likely to speak evil of you. This I said because I guard against criticizing what I have yet to experience. Hope you now understand me better.

I really want to have this gift of seeing spirits. How do i go about it?

I get you clearly but to be fair to CharlyG1. someone who came in and tried to make it about the God of chosen was shot down and rightly reprimanded that God can be found in any Church. Also when Sarassin unwittingly tried to keep this thread as a free for all, he was sternly reminded that this was solely a thread to declare the majesty and glory of the Most High God.

The voice became very audible, it was a quote from matthew 24:15-17, it said; when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" then let those who are in judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. At a glance, i saw places, people, the world was in great distress, it was as if a natural disaster had occur, the sun looked reddish, i saw how terrified everyone was. Everybody was running, what terrified me most is when i saw women abandon their children and running away in fear. I started to cry in the dream, and immediatly i woke up soaked with sweat on my body and tears on my eyes. Never have i ever had such a dream. What is the abomination that causes desolation? After a research i discovered that, this phrase refers to specific observable event that tells God's faithful followers who are alive during the great tribulation that christ's literal return to earth will happen very shortly. This visible sign or event refers primarily to the future desecration of the jewish temple in jerusalem by the antichrist. The antichrist will set up an image of himself in Gods temple, declaring himself to be "God". The abomination of desolation will trigger the great tribulation. The time span between this event and the end is given four times in the bible as three and a half years, or 1,260 days. See daniel 9:25-27; Rev 11:1-2; 12:6; 13:5-7. Wow! This is quite a revelation. Seems the end times are already here and Jesus is nearer than we think.

God showed me something similar to this too when I was about 12yrs old in JSS1.. The same scripture you quoted was mentioned too(about fleeing to the mountains).
I saw a pregnant woman in pain crying out, women crying, too many deaths, cities and buildings were burnt and in ruins.

What really struck me was this.. Someone like an Angel was showing all these to me in the dream, then an army came rushing out very fast.. They looked like red indians, they all held daggers. THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE SOLDIERS GOING FOR WAR.They were all chanting in a war-like tone, in a language i didn't understand. They were chanting 'SHIVAWNSHAVA SHIVAWNSHAVA'! Repeatedly.

They passed thru us(I & the Angel), like they couldn't see us. Then the last one of them saw me, ran to me, took my right arm and was stabbing me with his dagger, but his dagger wasn't penetrating me at all. He got scared, looked at me and ran away.
To cut the dream short,

After some years I decided to research on the meaning of 'SHIVAWNSHAVA'.. I now realized it was a Hebrew word.

SHIVAWN= Yahweh is gracious or Yahweh is merciful.
SHAVA= Cry out aloud or Cry for help..

Interpretation= Cry out to the Lord for He is merciful!

To the best of my knowledge, no one so far has said that angels are males. Angels are sexless. The same way we're gonna be in heaven. The fact that they bear names such as michael, Gabriel etc doesn't make them males. Most angels have names ending in "iel". By the way, the names "gabriel " or "michael" were never borne by humans before angels started appearing to humans. Humans were the ones that asserted those names to be male names.

Also do not think they are males simply because they're being referred to as "he". God is also being referred to as HE, but we all know that God isn't a male.
