I was reading yesterday that the director of the Nigerian NYSC has banned the use of Muslims hijab. This outfit being one of the identifying marks found in most Islamic nations, my curiosity then remembered that for almost a whole year and it got frenzier during the election campaign, that candidate Goodluck Jonathan and his political lackeys were announcing it through the roof top and Nairaland was no exception that Buhari presidency means that all of you will be Islamized asap.
So with a hijab ban, that doesn't make any sense for the Islamization project. Someone please tell me what's going on?

Nigeria is not the only country 'banning' the wearing of hijab in the public at this time, the western world is in the lead on this 'ban'. 

Senegal has more than 90% Muslim population and calls itself a Muslim country, yet they reportedly 'banned' wearing of hijab in the public just this month. 

Giving the current security realities where Boko Haram terrorists are all over the country (according to reports), wearing of hijab at this time is similar to scooping fuel from a fallen petrol tanker. 

It has nothing to do with Buhari's avowed commitment to spread Sharia to every nook and cranny of Nigeria.

My good man, sometimes these sort of threads are needed to remind us of the absurdities of yesterday that shames us all as a nation in light of what is reality today. We all remember how Nigerians were carried along in dangerous propaganda by those who did not want a Buhari Presidency for their own selfish reasons. They painted a picture of a nation where everyone is forced to shout "Allah ho akbar" and political opponents are jailed without trial. It was all very insulting to the senses of intelligent Nigerians who could not believe Nigerians, in year 20 frigging 15, were being manipulated like this. PEJ said she feared visiting her husband in jail. Is GEJ in jail today or gallivanting the world and spending his loot?

The point is that Nigerians should develop their own minds and independent opinions. If you get carried away promoting the selfish and obviously flawed messages of others, who are working for their own agenda, then you risk looking very foolish and ignorant in future. The biggest Nairaland promoters of "Buhari will Islamize Nigeria" now look like mumus who were used by GEJ, PEJ, Dokpesi, Obanikoro, Allison-Madueke et al. in addition to that, Buhari have voted NO to protection of human rights. This is to enable him easily implement his islamization agenda. In islamization, there is nothing like human right. During his campaign, he nearly took holy communion, because he was always in Church campaigning. But now He doesn't go to church again.

The human being that I will worship is not yet born.
Am only miffed how one of the biggest issues during the campaign had been forgotten in 7 months. No serious nation has such a short memory. That's why it was important and good that Buhari and APC was reminded of their N5k election promises recently.
If they lied , they should say so and apologize, if they cannot because of the empty treasury they inherited or 60% drop in the oil revenues, they should equally say so with a measure of humility.
For you, you should come out and apologize for your spreading of fear of Islamization, which many people believed and lived in fear for. You think you can just wished it away by name calling and blackmail? No chance.
