Obsession have been a recurring theme in my life. I've obsessed about couple of guys and have also been obsessèd over.

The craziest so far was couple of years ago when I met this ridiculously handsome South African man (and fell in love?). He had come to Nigeria for some business and I'd met him when I accompanied my friend to see his Nigerian friend. We got talking and wow! it seemed that we perfectly aligned. He had a good sense of humor and I appreciated his humor.

I started spending more and more time with him, just talking! We could talk for hours. We started even making plans for our future. Places we would go, things we would do. It was like a fairy tale. So perfect! In the space of 2 weeks I was head over heels in love.

I'd travelled to Owerri for a wedding the same week he was to travel back to Cyprus. We were constantly texting and calling each other all week till the afternoon he left. He said he was going to call me as soon as he got to Cyprus.

He didn't. 3 days after and still no call, i became restless and I assumed he lost my number. As i only had just his first name, Facebook and Google were out of it. I began the ultimate search! I asked my friend to call his friend to get his number. She couldn't, cause she wasn't speaking to the guy at that time. I called the hotel he lodged in requesting for his information. They refused, quoting some guest confidentiality blah!

I took to Google. Armed with just a south African first name, I began the ultimate search of life.

I found him! After two days of search! ( seriously FBI guys, recruit me, I'm quite the investigator.) I added him on FB, Skype, twitter. He ignored my requests. That should have been the first clue. I looked through his photos and noticed he was with a white chic in all of them. I simply assumed it was a picture of his ex that he hadn't bothered to deleted as none of the pictures was posted recently (delusional much!)

I wrote 12 pages of letter to his email. He gave me a 2 line reply. I wasn't bothered. I kept peppering him with messages on his Facebook, Skype and email his reply was short and noncommittal. After a while, he told me he was getting married I two months. Yeah, to the white Chic. I wished him well and logged off from his life forever.
I felt stupid. Didn't even know I was just a last minute fling to him. I got over it quicker than I expected. I still stalk him from time to time though.

Anytime I threaten to leave, he'd always tell me that he'd kill me and kill himself. One time, he embarrassed me in public and I knew I had to leave. I moved out of my school apartment and changed my line.

I ran into him 2 years later and he was pleasant. He told me I had hurt him when I disappeared but he'd gotten over me. He asked me where I was going and volunteered to drop me off. We were heading to the right direction when he suddenly veered off and started driving to town at a break neck speed. Jeez! I thought I'd die that day. I started screaming, shouting and begging him. He didn't look at my direction. His face was a mask! I started crying and pleading and suddenly, he slowed down. As soon as it was safe, I jumped out of the vehicle and ran as fast as my legs could carry me. That guy's a complete nut job!

Oh sweet. But the only things I obsess about are my businesses.

when they cant control themselves anytime u are in an argument with someone they are always there 2 like and share comments as long as it insult u then that person is obsess with u.plenty sick people from this place.

Yes,i had my fair share of obsessions,but i will only share the most recent one. A young man pack into my neighborhood, not handsome but very intelligent. At first we were just friends but i fell in love with him along the line, even though i knew he had a serious babe.

The guy will want me around all the time,he picks my calls,know all my contact, i mean i did not have a life other the guy.It got so bad that he started hitting me or forming heart attack when i want out of the relationship.Mennn,i had to made up my mind to end the relationship,he even propose to me and i said NO.He is married now but still staring at me when ever he sees me around.

I have learnt to easily spot obsessive people from a mile away....

So no news here.

Mine was princess, the lady i was planning to marry,she so so pretty, very charming that her female counterpart wont stop admiring her.evry man in d neighbour hood wanna be friend with her,female inclusive o!.met her during my service yr in d sech sch i taught,b4 then i once saw her pics with my younger sis while in sec sch, i immediately told my self(because i use to be very shy then),i shall love to have this beauty as my spouse,so by the time i met her during my service yr in that christian sec sch as a final y student,my heart skipped o,how was i gonna do it?me wey no get liver, so so shy,even during my uni days ,na so i be,thank god for my brilliance else na carry over i for gather!.i just ignored her and kept praying silently that i meet her.she left the sch but as fate would want it, we met two yrs later but this time i tried talking to her and a relationship started.we became 'great duo',every one in the town knew of our togetherness,her parents were strict but we were able to conquer them via love,i loved her so much that we see each other every day and most times if i no go work we will stay indoors from morning till night! I fall for her every day, and never got tired of seeing her every day o.she couldnt pass her WAEC well but i was able to dress like a lady student ,enter the exam hall during Maths, English, Economics Govt and Commerce!!(pls NOTE THAT I AM A SCIENCE STUDENT O, BUT I HAD TO READ FOR ALL THOSE PAPERS SO SHE CAN PASS ALL HER SUBJECTS.) IN ONE of those days, i recall some police chased us out of the hall with female dresses on us!( i later realised that i wasnt the only woman husband man/woman wrapper that came dressed like a 'she'.we be two sef).but thank god she passed, she went to a higher school too ,but i will always monitor her daily, sneak to her place of work to check on her,..evn when am with male friends i will often call her name 'princess',.my friends will make jest of me and consequently gave me the nick name 'Princess'!her name is charming princess lest i froget.But the trouble was by the time she started school in d poly,her level of friendship changed, she started keeping every male number as friends, my princess will goto the market to buy clothes but she will also come back with minimum 10 male numbers!i started shaking every time she is not with me, wondering what she will b doing at evry point in time,she dosent know how to say 'NO' to men about exchange of contacts.i started smashing her phones@any time i see strange numbers in her phone,i will break d sim and replace the phone,but for were,madam started hiding her phone from me,....she said she is not gonna marry me but i cried, knelt down in d open market square public to beg her to be mine ,she said NO.uptill today,i still stuck her on fb,...but i told my self i must get over her but it has never ben easy since 9yrs ago!i still have a place for her right here........somtimes i still find my self deep in tought about her,but i dont know what we call that this days, is it evil or insanity??.i have neverand WILL NEVER LOVE ANOTHER LIKE CHARMING PRINCESS.she really made me love sick and frustrated.thanks @Amy for this topic,i have never shared this with any one since 9yrs now,not even when i do not have any one close to my heart again.

Mine was early this year,we met during one exam I wrote, we were 4 in our clique, we all had each others number but I didn't know I was in trouble, This particular guy was just obsessed with beign my friend that I became paranoid thinking he was Gay...It was so weird. Like for example he will call to ask if I was in school, if I say yes, he will say lets try and meet that he is around, omo I go just form lie say am on my way to lectures. See me see trouble..o, When I want get time dey form friends when I had so many things on my mind like final year research and the rest. I just blocked his number sharpaly.
