Wild catfish is generally more nutritious than farm raised, but hard to find, however farm raised are not fed with chemicals, they eat formulated feeds just like baby food, I have been to some feed mills and did not see anything to prove that they are formulated with bad chemicals, Nigerian fish farmers use one bad chemical though, but not in feeds. Lastly the top notch nutritious fish is not mentioned above.

I can tell you that farmed fish are safer in the sense that we don't know how polluted the water bodies does fishes were caught, some have
loads of heavy metal contents in their flesh

When will the state governments in the Niger delta ever look into commercial fishing business which would serve as an avenue to rake in revenue for the respective states without thinking of crude oil alone...just when..A country like norway thrives on fish business as a part of revenue generation..We've got the ocean in the Niger delta ,what are we doing with it? ??...choiii. .... angry

Bros I don't think we have those species of fishes here in our seas besides we don't have the machineries and electricity to preserve them before exporting

According to a recently published statement i heard about a week back, NO!

Owing to the chemicals used in raising them, it highly cancerous. So hold back from cat-fish, else you can get the one caught from a swamp/river/sea.

Mahn I love Titus but this keeps amazing me ......
How do the fake titis come about? is it produced( not possible ) or is it...... because how can a fish be fake....

it is not fake,it's another specie ,kampala Titus looks like a cross breed of real Titus and kote ,
it has the skin pattern of Titus but it's body, shape and fish content is like kote.
