Greetings to you boss, please I will need your help, I applied for france tourist visa did the bio metric and submition 2 dec 2015 and I got a message my application was ready 7/23/2015, the only reason started on my denial was the information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and condition of the intended stay was not reliable, my intended date of traveling was 2/1/2016 and return 8/1/2016. The question now is should I appeal as I submitted all that was required, considering the time frame of appeal, would u advice me to appeal or just re apply and if I choose to reapply what time do you think is the best time to reapply, I hear some people say a month after or so, please clearify thanks and God bless you

Hello people,
Pls help a sister out.
My middle name was misspelled as Omowunmi in my passport, instead of Omowumi which appears in all my credentials. I want to apply for US student visa. Will the N added to my name in the passport cause visa denial? And will an affidavit be enough if any issue arise? Change of name of passport takes long, it is stressful and also very expensive.

Such an oversight can be overlooked. If the error bothers you, then, point it out as additional information.

Travelled to Dubai last year and i was asked to step aside. Passport was scanned and another colleague was asked to come and also look at my passport. My wife was not interrogated this way.
My crime? Having a baby face. In my 30's but look early 20's and I'm sure holding a green passport didn't help either. After seeing that the passport was genuine, i was apologized to and asked to have fun. It's an issue to look younger than you are at POE.
The issue is not because you look younger, but rather because, many Nigerians have proven their suspicions right before.

Please All, I intend visiting the States to see my sister and her family. Visa secured already. On my ds160, I stated that I will be staying in her apartment and the address was included. Going forward after the visa issuance and the desire to have some privacy cos I do lots of reports writing and online submissions at my place of work, I intend staying in a hotel in the same town as against my sister's apartment as stated earlier. My question; is it possible that this is seen as a discrepancy at the POE? Kindly advise.
Thanks.

Johnie, it doesn't matter that where you intend staying has changed, make sure you have a printed hard copy of your reservation with you. If asked at the POE where you're staying, be sincere and tell them the hotel (show the reservation), the reason you have given is ok. It happens often times when you end up staying in hotel other than the one booked to apply for visa.

You should be fine provided the booking is legit and valid.

How about if it's a different state altogether. Say for instance, at your visa interview, you stated New York as your vacation destination and then you decide to change to, say, California at the time you eventually travel. Assuming you have a new hotel reservation for the California hotel, will one still be fine at POE?

Just be honest, Only you know why you changed your plans.
You had plans for New York, now you have changed your mind to California.
Be ready to explain why, honestly.
If your plans are all legal then no problems.

I am planning on traveling to the Netherlands by February for a short stay. and I want to be staying like 2months. my question now is, is 2months too long a stay for a visitors Visa? Can the embassy because of that refuse Visa?

Two months is far to much to stay, are you visiting family or staying in a hotel accommodation?

Of course visitor of conference visa requires return ticket!
You are there for a limited time and your return ticket is evidence that you will leave.
Without a return ticket you will not be allowed entry!

NO!
You are not required to pay for a flight ticket before applying for a visa, you are only required to provide details of any firm travel plans that you have made, ie itinerary:
Warning! Do not book a flight because, you will forfeit your money if your visa is refused. Itinerary does not only mean flight ticket, it means travel plans which are, the preparations that you have put in place: such could be site seeing or tour guide arrangements, or onward flight tickets if applying for a transit or stopover visa;

Please l needed to ask this question. My husband and I are travelling to south Africa for 2 weeks but I will be flying from UK to south Africa as I hold a British passport and my husband flying from Lagos to south Africa on a tourist visa on Nigerian passport holder. Though we are landing same day but different times. I will arrive first and his flight later that day. Could l or hubby be asked why we flew in from different location into south Africa? And if so what do we say at the POE. Thank you
