Is there any news about when the pension dues will be paid...... according to some information i heard..... the payment is being delayed due to President Buhari reluctance in choosing the ministers (since the approval of the minister of finance is needed)
Re: Nitel Pensioners Should Come In by brosiye99(m): 4:59pm On Sep 15, 2015
that may have an effect but has it been finally approved knowing the case is in supreme court now

Information reaching me through text msg says pre-verification exercise on the training of verifiers will hold on 28th and 29th of january 2016 (this month) in preparation for the final pension payoff.
For me this does not concern me (us) the victims/beneficiaries who are the ex-staff of Nitel/Mtel . What I will be interested to hear is the television and radio advert on mode of payment, centers, particulars needed for verification and dates of payment as was done in previous payments.
Jonathan and his gang of thieves in PDP buried NITEL and used our unsettled claims for his failed campaign and God rewarded him with clear defeat he suffered from.

Whoever that destroys your source of livelihood has killed a generation of your family. Jonathan is one example. He must not go free in the massive arrest going on on those that have shortchanged nigeria through looting

It was Obasanjo that allowed nitel to die. Also, your union people were unreasonable.

don't even know what to tell you. Is it not Obasanjo that brought in mobile telecommunication companies and levelled Nitel? It is obvious you blindly hate Jonathan. Please stop been a baby and grow up

Yes I heard so too. That is for disengaged staffs. They said this settlement will be between the liquidator and the Badejo- led union. Whichever way, I just want to know when the verification will start.

Documents have been submitted by majority of the ex-company. The verification really from all known fact is by the union, but what really matters is that they should once and for all pay the still living staff off. An ex-staff died on Monday, the very day the submission of the the documents started in enugu. Had they paid this moneylike a month back that they ought to, maybe, the joy of that alone could have given the man the zeal n spirit to live more on this wonderful earth

You grow down. Jonathan Clueless President in the history of Nigeria sympathizer.Jonathan is heartless and wicked, evil man pretending to be a gentle man. What does it take Jonathan to sympathize with ex Nitel staffs that has serve their Father land for 35yrs that Obasanjo had wickedly victimise by not paying them their pensions and benefits. Jonathan has every opportunity in this world to listen to the cries of the dying ex Nitel staffs by paying them their accrued pensions and gratiuity. Majority of them has died out of poverty i.e. No money for food, no money for hospital etc.
Yet billions of dollars were looted out of the country by the past administration. My prayer is that they will never live to enjoy the ill gotten wealth and their Children will be as uselesss as and die prematurely.
God please the heart of a king is in your hand. Please touch the heart of our incorruptible President Muhammedu Buhari to pay this EX NITEL/MTEL STAFFS that has serve their father land meritously their pensions and gratuity. AMEN!

N.B.Please Seun and others put this ex Nitel suffering on front page. You might save a soul and bring happiness to families and their generation. Please use this your blog to speak for the poor and voiceless in our society and God will bless you more with sound health. AMEN!
