Bros @dhtml, i dey wait ohhh. Fire the first question or task: You create your solution you can even specify the language you want it done in and i will try to solve it within an hour. At the end of one hour i submit my solution and you submit your solution and we criticize the solution and others may contribute and review. Waiting......
If you dont enter the challenge wont bother arguing with you again self, cause i assume you are true sissy wey just get mouth but no actions. Even when you lose the challenge you keep your honor intact and i take you as a worthy colleague. Not to engage in this sword battle will be your peril on nairaland ohhhhhh.

This is interesting, what's the challenge about then? And it's Dhtml18, the other account isn't in use.

I think dhtml has released codes here. Frameworks.
What have you done?
If he's a quark as you claim, he wouldnt have works to his name. Works and contributions to the software community.

#this your post reminds me of kids/pre-teens daring each other to a fight. Pulling shirt!

@asalimpo Are you a @dhtml alias. Who invited you over? Arguably you have a very dreamy teen life. But how does that affect the current discussion. I am trying to settle an E-Beef so "uche face your work" and dont let me get one with you. angry

What end does this serve apart from massaging your egos? Whoever eon anything gorgeous being the "baddest" coder. Awon yoruba so wi pe ona kan o wo ja. What someone considers as a clever elegant solution might be considered as wasteful by another.

Its good you are so proverbial and consider yourself as spokesperson for @dhtml. he already said he would win by poll. LOL. I guess thats what it entails to be a programmer in naija right? Anyway i dont need to massage my ego and like i have always told the sissy, I dont need to prove anything to anyone but i thought he would at least show some courage by responding to my challenge. The whole essense of the challenge being to see how confident he is in what he knows. Apparently, he is not. I dont even consider him a programmer and rightly so you too. One of the reasons we code is so we can have bragging rights(most programmers do that) i guess you would not know anything about that. As for dhtml, since he is not up to the challenge i advice him to stop making so much f**cking noise on NL. He may be an average programmer but he should stop talking or feeling like he is there. Its kinda the pi** off.

I laff out loud at your bragging o. I been coding from BASIC to QBASIC to Pascal to C/C++ to Java to PHP. Coded on the Commodore64, BBC Micro, Down to IBM. Coded when programs were saved on radio cassette tapes. But I'm not gonna get in programming jujitsu with you. There's more to computing than programming. These days I'm too lazy to start programming. I focus my efforts on coming up with innovative ways to use existing solutions that are beneficial locally. If however you enjoy programming to have bragging rights be my guest. I'm in it for the love of the profession and the numerous benefits it can bring.

Remember that programming enables us do a lot of things more efficiently, but most of those things we strive to do efficiently don't need to be done in the first place. I am a functional guy not a technical guy. Kudos to you

Seunthomas, I totally agree wtih you sir!

Programming is not about hacking up software and knowing a thing or two about every language. Every kid can do that. Its about problem solving, algorithms, and data structures.

I have been reading your comments on this forum and they are usually so informed and mature....unlike you-know-who that just makes me laugh all the time.

Am waiting and cheering boss! Today na today!!!

Challenge you? How does that benefit me? Funny you mention ADA like it's some exotic language. These days I'm more into functional programming using Prolog. So no I'm not challenging you. Everyone knows you are better than me. Even I know. My question was "of what mutual benefit is engaging in a challenge with some faceless person on NL". Bragging rights?

That one is a jamb question not meant for me. Since you poke your nose or your keyboard as @dhtml's counsel, you may try to answer the same question.....

I never claimed to use ADA. As for Prolog, I'm currently using it to add artificial intelligence to a raspberry Pi controlled robotic arm.

In your words you started programming in 98. That's 5 years after I picked my first programming book. I agree you are superior. Lets leave it at that

Apparently you are indirectly picking up dhtml's fight right? else why so much interest....

Op, you're just running your mouth like chris okotie spilling his presidential talk.

Dyu know how silly you sound?

You sound childish and immature.

@larrisoft
i disagree with your take on dhtml . You are attacking his nature (humurous) and using it as a yardstick for judging his competence.
How logical is that?
Or to you all competent programmers are poker faced and grouchy!

Looolz! I don't know either of you. I'm just bewildered why two good programmers will engage in a battle of supremacy when there are loads of rookies that can learn from y'all.

Well he actually threw the first challenge. In his opinion such matters could be resolved by public opinion(poll), i see his supporters are actually at work. I actually consider him a level one rookie. I wont ask you to prove your self except you want to throw a challenge.

Everybody is just claiming to sabi several language, basic, qbasic, prolog, ada etc.
As for me i still stick with my php, but if you need me to write in other language, give me 24 hours and i will build a program with anyone.
