1. Water Ingress: was caused by the blockage of the AC discharge pipes, rather flow outwards it flowed inward into the passenger side of the car, thereby flooding the car.....without any rain!

Central lock works but remote doesn't control it?? Do this and you should be back in the game. ... Put the key in the driver door. Turn it to lock while pressing the lock pushbutton. Hold for 5 seconds. Turn to unlock, press unlock and hold 5 seconds. Voila, la porte marche bien maintenant!

Ever had your power folding mirrors fold out of sync?? (When one opens, the other closes and vice versa??) Here is a quick fix.... For DIY minded folks, remove the battery head and fold the mirror to the position you want then replace the battery head. Poof.....you have ur mirrors in sync again. Your power mirror module I having a headache! If you don't want to remove the battery terminals, remove one the fuses for the mirrors, press the button to move the other mirror to the required position then remove the second fuse...... Then replace fuses and you have re-synced the mirrors. Fuses 11 and 24 control the mirrors motions..... 2 Likes 1 Share |

Basically a scan tool is required to reset the Service interval on your Land Rover vehicle.... However if I or anyone forget to reset it.....then this manual reset procedure will work for some Land Rovers. 1. Press and hold the trip reset button. 2. Turn the ignition switch on to the ignition position II. 3. If the SII function is enabled the information display will flash ‘SERVICE’ for 5 seconds and then display ‘SERVICE’ constantly. If the SII function is not enabled the information display will show the normal odometer and trip information. 4. Release the trip reset button within 10 seconds of entering the reset mode, the information display will show ‘DIST’. If the trip reset button is not released after 10 seconds the instrument cluster will exit the manual reset procedure. 5. If the oil service value is to be reset, press the trip reset button within 10 seconds of releasing it and hold for more than 5 seconds. The information display will show ‘RST’ for 5 seconds and then reset the oil service value, the display will then show ‘END’. 6. If the trip reset button is not pressed for more than 10 seconds, then the information display will exit the reset routine. |

Dynamic Response Filter. A blocked filter will spell out several symptoms for the stability of the car.

Dynamic Response Test before filter was changed . A blocked filter will almost always give this result. You would notice uneven dampening when driving.

leuelliot: Didn't change the entire harness.... Changed the harness from steering controls, central locking systems and central console. |

Changing a Range Rover Steering Rack is basic and straightforward. (Keep the steering straight, loosen steering column knuckles in the engine bay area, deplug steering transducer, loosen driver side engine support, jack engine up a little bit, and voila, Rack comes out after loosening its support bolts). Rack was leaking on both ends, thankfully the rub ends where tight and kept the fluid in making the client believe some form of miracle happens to the power steering fluid. Side effect: Because the oil wasn't getting to the floor, client used the car a little longer than necessary. Power Steering pump failed along the line.... |

Need a salvage 2011 and above Range Rover Sport (NA or SC), accidented with minimum damage to chassis. Compromised Suspension systems or related issues. |

I learnt how to interface with the client on issues more....... Each night Mr. X complained that his transmission does up shift except in sports mode, in his Range Rover Sport SC....... I come in the morning ran scans and checks and everything seems fine! Didn't know what to make of the problem. I had previously resolved the incorrect gear ratio issues the car was having, changed the fan clutch, so this transmission was in perfect shape! I could bet my job on that. Fault codes that came up had nothing to do with the transmission. BCM had a B1C60 code, but none of the bulbs where busted......... |
