Yes, and that's why I will show all the scores and different criteria to analyse because what A is looking for is different from B. In life you need information to make good decisions.
A may not even care about the language you are talking about but have a job waiting while he/she returns and don't care about jobs while B may be crippled and do not have other means to extend if he/she is given only 1 year, to that person, what do you think might be important? That's the point where I am coming from, if your city is not mentioned it wouldn't stop any from coming at all neither will it stop those in your city from progressing as well.
I have seen and interacted with people over the years and most wish they had better information before making a decision.
I am sure before you chose Germany, you must have analysed a number of countries based on merits and demerits and you based your choice on what you have.

Its just a shame that this thread that was buzzing last year is empty now from all the old guys, it happens over and over every year that you don't get to hear from most, but I do still talk to a handful and I have an idea of what life is like out there.
It also shows the kind of people Nigerians are, you take and never give back. You get watered but will never water. People on this thread becomes "those people", but one forget when their vigils were made here, If not not for that, people here would be better informed.
But that's just my " by the side" rant.

My Opinion:

Bigger cities like Berlin, Hamburg, Munich have more job offers, more foreigners to mix with, but expensive housing!!! Even for Germans it's hard to find affordable flats.

Smaller cities offer less job opportunities if at all.., but housing is cheaper. But if you live far from university you should consider transport too.

German students prefer to live close to the university too, so there is much concurrency.

And we have racists here. It can happen thru don't give you job because you are a foreigner.

You have to learn the language, makes things easier here. Much easier..

So, it just dawned on me that I have been stocking all my eggs in a basket. If the other one doesn't work out too( which I'm seriously praying against), then my hopes for Winter is.....

Hence, my plea: which school with admissions for October still open can I apply for that is relatively easier and probably won't need me to send certified copies until admission is sure??

I'm looking at applying for Elect/ IT courses. I graduated with 5.7/7.0 in Elect/ Elect and have 8.0 in IELTS.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

All is well bro, when did ur apply?, what's. Ur CGPA?
And did u follow this guide lines
1. Make sure what u applying for. Has a very close relationship with ur undergraduate degree.
2. U submitted a good independent research port folio
3. U follow the standard format for preparing your cv and u upgraded ur cv to. Fit. What.you applying for to show a bit of experience
4. Hope u applied early
5. Hope you followed the right standard,Ur motivation letter also show your main motivation right from a kid till the point of applying and why u applying to the sch. Although it dosent. Guarantee admission but it gives u a better shot at it
This is also my 1st time applying but had a little experience with canada,US,malay admission and I read abt TUM admission on the. Site properly with people reviews here, so I had to synchronise dem to Germany application. It's obvious it's not easy to get the admission.
I pray u get the admission for the second and I also pray I get mine too

Msc or bsc? I feel you can check Ur course on daad to know schools offering it and whose admission is still open. Meanwhile check up on uni freiburg, their admission for Msc environmental science is still open till May

Kiel, if Visa granted early enough, you can write both,meanwhile apply to more schools for studienkolleg as many people are taking that exam.
