For you sha, cuz, Veep caught my interest right from the get-go. It's a political satire, a political mockery that thrives on it's cynical approach to real world politics. The series is one huge birdie flipped at the United States Government for it's ineptitude to both domestic & foreign policies.

Dreyfus as POTUS Selina Meyer is one helluva character - Her antics provide some of the show's comic relief. Her performance is so brilliant that it earned her 3 straight Emmys.

In Veep's first season,all Meyer did was be vulgar,that was it..nothing else,you would make a mistake by taking vulgarity as comic relief.

The only reason I kept on watching was because it was a political series, and I remember telling myself that if it doesn't get any funnier in its second season I will drop it.Luckily Armando gave Jonah more screen time and everything changed.

Yes it was...Excessive Cussing does not make Good Comedy(The Brink proves this).I like Veep do not get me wrong,But you can't replace good comedy with vulgarity,and that was what its first season was packed with.

I'm already seeing the Thick of It..And when it comes to swearing,Meyer is learning.What is actually different with Malcolm's is that Malcolm's cusses are funny and Meyer's are annoying.
