Last week it was reported that former head of state Ibrahim Babangida is reportedly very sick and cannot walk without support, while the report was trying to be euphemistic, sources close to the family have reported that the former head of state who went out of the country last year for medical attention is now confined to a wheelchair as his leg has been amputated!

The family denied report of Ibb's ailing health last week but a source who pled anonimity said the former head of state had been having severe pains in the leg for a very long time and doctors had to amputate it to save his life

He has been suffering from peripheral neuropathy for years.I don't know if he is diabetic though but guess he might be.
