Last saturday while going to work i met an evangelist who invited me to their church,i told him i have my own church but he pleaded with me not to miss the program that its very important.
I told him well i will try. He gave me a hand bll.

I didnt walk up to a 5minute distance when a sister from a diffrent church also stopped me and invited me to her church progam too. She also said
i shouldnt miss dat its very important.

This time i burst into laughter and told her another brother from a diffrent church just invited me to their church too on the same date which was sunday. She smiled and still gave me a hand bill and i walk away.

As i was going i started contemplating about how people open churches here and there when we only have one God.
As a christian have never seen any where in the bible where Jesus said people should open diffrent churches every day before we can serve God.

In my own opinion i think we are supposed to have only one church where christians are united and not diffrent church denominations and diffrent doctrines
most of all this new churches are opened because the pastor just wants to make money from his members. This is not really what the bible teaches. Am saying this because some thing happened in my church some years back that really shocked me. Back then i was living in calabar.

I dont want to mention the name of the church but its one of the biggest churches in Nigeria.
An anointed man of God was sent to our church which is a big branch. Everyone loved the man because he is a very strong man of God.

The church is a very big parish with lot of big men and women. Even the the ex govenor's wife was a member of the church.
The pastor was there for years and everyone loved his preaching.

Eventually he was transfered to a new parish but he refused to leave saying he has really contributed to the growth of the parish. We use to have two sunday service because we had so much members that worshipped there.

He didnt want to leave because he knew he wont make money in the new church which had just few members. This came as a shock to every one.

When they still insisted on transfering him, he left the church and opened his own church(church name withheld)

i was like so most of this pastors just want to make money from their members.

If i persuade you to come to Christ, that's not to say, without you Christ will be less of Christ.
I preach the gospel of Christ, but not from a disadvantaged point. Don't you ever think that Christ is helplessly standing out there begging for you to come to him in other for him not to lose his throne.
Everything he did and is doing, is for your own good, if you choose to ignore his love, then pass on. if you dare cast aspersions on my faith, I will tell you that we are not weak. Jesus may have tight our hands, he didn't tie my mouth.
