Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has condemned the increment from N86.50 to N145 of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as
petrol, describing it as insensitive and demonstration of the level of hatred the President Mohammadu Buhari led All Progressives Congress (APC) government had for Nigerians.

The governor, who said the over 70 per cent increment was another vindication of his predictions on what to expect in 2016, added that it was now clear that the scarcity of petrol being experienced in the last three months was deliberately orchestrated by the federal government to pave way for the already conceived increment.

This administration is a scam. In 2012, when fuel was
about 100 dollars per barrel the then govt said fuel will b
sold for 140 naira after subsidy removal. Now, that the
price is around 40 dollars per barrel, how come the price
is now 145 naira per litter after subsidy removal.

NLC should pretest against this like they did in Jonathan's era, their silence makes me believe they were politically motivated to ruin Jonathan's plan for the country.

How will the unemployed masses be able to survive this ?

What is the gaurantee that things will be better in future after removing this subsidy ?

David cameron was indeed correct abt Nigeria.

Though subsidy must go, but the anticipated price is rather so high. It should be around 100 naira.

Now, the deed has been done. Labour unions have all accepted the new fuel price, which means, there's likely not going to be any protest. My worry now is that..... how is the govt going to cushion the sufferings and hardships being presently faced by the people. Transportation to and fro work is going to be doubled, if not tripled. The price of everything that has skyrocketed before is going to be "heaven-rocket". Crimes are going to increase...... and so many other hardships........ how is the govt planning to cushion all these. Or is this how they're just going to be looking at us

Exchanging diatribes with people like you is sheer waste of time and data but Nigerians who still have their senses intact know who is now clueless between Buhari and Jonathan. By the time you begin to trek 5 kilometers to your place of work, you'll know what's up.

Where are you donLekan

You quoted me on thread where BUhari made his intentions known about APC presidential race you said and I quote "God will delay my progress as I said Buhuari should wait till 2019"

I want to tell you that under this administration I'm able to achieve many things including setting up a standard farm that is good enough to cater for me and my family .... I know by now you will be bitting fingers that you have ever made a bad step that your own concience will not forgive you

Now that I pridicted what BUHARI has in mind for us but stand against me and I made up my mind never to forgive you in this earth and the coming world ... By the power coffered on me by my self I said you have been forgiven simply because I know you will never scale through this hardship.

God bless Federal republic of Nigeria

let's buy fuel for 65naira

and let the thieves share billions of dollars and hide under subsidy.

The common man is always thinking about now and today. They dnt think about 2moro.

During GEJ's era I said NO TO SUBSIDY and I still maintain it.

Subsidy removed or it remains, the common man will suffer it.

I once said it that PDP would have lost their reputation for genuine criticism by the time we need them.

All their noise is to prevent themselves from prosecution.

Sigh.

Insensitivity to the masses plight is when you continue with subsidy....until you have to start taking IMF or Chinese loans to pay for it...since thanks to the drop in oil prices....you don't have the cash to pay for the subsidy in the first place.

So subsidy should have gone in 2012 so that GEJ and his goons would have had more money to loot abi? Una no well at all.
