Nairalanders, Pls Beware Of This Scammer! by generalissimo(m): 12:07am On May 13, 2016
I have been scammed in a dramatic way by this guy who claimed to be a SME DATA Reseller. He even placed his scamming venture ad here on Nairaland. I saw his ad banner in one of the sections and I thought he was legitimate like others I had patronised before.

He claimed he sells 5 GB for 2,000 and I never suspected he might be one of them. I ordered for 5 GB jeje. But this guy talked me into changing my mind to buy 10 GB for 3,500, for 3 months validity. This guy is a smooth talker. Before I knew what's up, I had been scammed of 4,500. First, 3,500 for the data, then 1,000 for the purchase of activation PIN when I couldn't use the data I was informed I had received through sms and he said activation would be required .

Here is his mode of operation: He would tell you that the data would be sent to you first before you pay him through MTN Recharge PIN (payment after delivery). Meanwhile, he would only send you a bulk sms with the sender I.D bearing DATASERVICE telling you that you have been given the data but you would only need to activate it by following the instructions in the SMS then when you pay up, he gives you the activation PIN. At this stage, you might think he's a genuine data Seller.

That was how I got scammed. He just put my phone number in a blacklist this morning that I might not be able to reach him again cos he still uses his phone number to scam other less wary people. This is his phone number: 07065416841. Please Beware of him!

Pls if anyone knows where to report this phone number to EFCC or other antigraft agencies, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Below are his ad banner and the screen shot of the supposed data I was to have from his fraudulent sms.

True.I fell for it 2 weeks back. I sent him MTN airtime worth 1200 and he stopped picking my calls.I called him with my other line and the thief picked.Immediately he heard my voice,he dropped the call.I feel like burning his balls.I just cautioned Nairalanders just yesterday on his tactics.

Sorry for Your loss, but how can You dream of buying 5gig for 2k or 10gig for 3k? Thinking of that alone is a scam. because You & I know he cnt get such offer legally from any network when ordinary 500mb was 1k b4 they now increased it to 1.5gig for 1k.

How did you pay him? Next time ask of account details. In such situations, you can easily trace the scammer

You be real mugu! How could you have fallen for this cheap trick? I see his Ads and similar ones on frontpage threads. Immediately I see such I recognize them as scam. I always believe that if an offer looks too good to be true, run away, cos there's a 99 percent chance it's a scam. They just use the pay after delivery gimmick to trick mumu, greedy guys like you into believing they're genuine.

Instead of buying straight from the network operators, you want to buy 100 gb for 3k, why won't you be scammed? In fact, such mumuness dey vex me, cos it's guys like you that keep these fraudulent elements in business. Just imagine how much he makes in a day if he manages to con 20 m0rons like you in a day multiplied by 30 days in a month. That's enough for him to buy a powerful SUV and live large.

I'm sure many more 1diots will still fall for the scam. Really pathetic.

also note I saw someone trying to sell airtime for less the value of it. I think he was offering 2000 for 1500 it is only logical that people trying to Sell such muct have gotten the airtime through illegal means and are trying to sell it off for convertion to cash.

I was caught in his net.
It is time we stop him and help place him where he belongs,
This is my contribution towards exposing him, let us help others track him down
He is a nuisance.

Pls whenever you are online tag his bank #Ecobank @GroupEcobank, and the following agencies #NPF @PoliceNG, #EFCC @officialEFCC, #ICPC @ICPC_PE on Twitter and Facebook. Most especially his bank, Ecobank @GroupEcobank.

I wrote an extensive piece about him here, you should share the page with as many of your social handles as possible.
http://smartfinanceng..com.ng/2016/11/online-prowler-internet-scammer-enaruna.html

We can end his business and prevent him from tricking others down the same path.
Recession is enough talk less of another Nigerian scamming others at this time, so much for him.

When you're an heavy internet user but most networks are so slow in your area and is
left with this expensive MTN network, what do you do?
Some people will just judge like fingers are equal or as if what is obtainable in the
mama's kitchen is obtainable everywhere in Nigeria...
Different stroke for different folks.
All fingers are not equal and not every region in Nigeria enjoy the relatively fast internet
speed you get on almost all network providers in the cities.

I guess all three of you are ignorant of the existence of SME Data resellers and the
fact that they truly sell at those rates. Each reseller have his/her own rate so this
guy was hiding under their modus operandi to dupe unsuspecting customers.

I have my customer that I usually buy MTN data from N600 = 1GB, N1000 = ~3.5Gb
And I have never met him in person, though he was recommended.
I was only trying this Enarama guy out and it has an unexpected ending.
The Enarama person is just a treacherous swine putting other truly honest resellers out
of business.
People who wanted to buy from him are not necessarily greedy.
Save your holier-than-thou attitudes for some other threads.

So the scammer is still swindling hapless nairalanders till now?
It is really appalling no effort has been made to apprehend the criminal. He's scamming people with impunity and reckless abandon. I'm sure he's made millions from this. So unfortunate.

The mods are giving tacit support to this criminal by not moving this thread to the front page to alert unsuspecting nairalanders of his scam business. Many greedy nairalanders are falling victim on a daily basis if not hourly basis, cos I still see his ads on frontpage threads.

Really unfortunate.
