Every species requires a certain set of environmental conditions to be able to move around, feed and reproduce. Whether it’s in the forest, grassland, desert, tundra, or ocean, the place where each species finds the conditions it needs to live and thrive but u just killed one of such......too bad...

Wow! My issues with Nigeria and Africans is that our research habit is very poor.

In some places, when such a snake is killed, the venom will be extracted and used for antidote for snake bite.

Also, it can be used as meat, cream, drugs and for making bags, shoes, etc

If it's at Egbema side of orashi river the python was killed, then its a stray python. I suppose the snake is Eke Njaba, predominant in Njaba/Orashi river belt of Imo state. The snake is a diety and usually harmless.
@OP, had you killed that python in places like Isunjaba, you wouldn't be spared by the natives. You would definately bury it like a human being with all funeral rites attached to it.
