I've never seen a useless, boring, vapid and yawn-inducing performance from any player more than what CR7 produced this night. Even IbrahimoLAZY had a better performance over both legs against Citeh than CR7. At a point out of anger at his carefree attitude I started wishing Athletico would win. If this sort of performance is what CR7 would giving in Euro, then I pity Portugal coz to me, he was the worst Madrid player on the pitch. I'm glad he won it though. Viva Madrid!! |

Dadehmola: Ever since he came back against Citeh, he's been uber useless. I forgave him then but tonight's performance got me so peeved that I nearly smashed my remote controller. He needs to take a time off and recover or I will deliberately miss the rest of Portugal's matches if he tries this madness in their opening match. |

If Pap fails to win EPL in 3 yrs like he could not win CL in bayern, if Jose also fails to win EPL in the next 3 yrs, and both leave for another league(s), having successful spells thereafter. People will say Pap is an EPL failure. That's why he has something to prove, and not Jose who is accustomed to winning trophies in England |

As far as I'm concerned, pep has the CL advantage to start with. He CAN lure worldclass players to his new club, but you cannot say the same for mourinho. Assuming suarez is up for sale and the two clubs fighting for his sgnature are City and united, which club do you think he'll sign for? I'm not saying pep will win this league in his 1st attempt though. |

When Fergie tried playing Rooney, who was in world class form with painkillers, a week after a hamstring injury against Bayern in 2010, why did he suddenly post a subdued performance in the second leg? Hamstring injuries take three weeks to a month to heal fully! The truth is Ronaldo is just disturbingly too ambitious and mightn't be playing right now if he were another player. He met a Bayern team that crushed the best team over this decade 7-0 on aggregate, and transformed them into romantic moroñs who got thrashed 5-0 on aggregate by Madrid in his first year. Since then they've gotten eliminated by the La Liga other top two teams. Don't forget that the Semi finals is quite easy to get this days, with only few European super powers firing on all cylinders right now. Therefore he failed at Bayern! Pep will try to implement his Tiki-taka in EPL, and it will take three years to get the system to a decent level ! But the catch here is the fact that you aren't guaranteed the league as it almost is in the Bundesliga. If you can't get evil wingers, tiki-taka is almost a joke.
