Wellsaid @Konnnektions.
Staff would work hard, get A* in their appraisals, time for promotion, they would give few slots to the Group Head and he would sharing it like say na buns.
GTB is just past glory, the ones that have manage and reach SBO and above, are consoling themselves with the pay. The ones below are veryyy frustrated, but work no dey grin.

I heard Segun said they are lucky they weren't sacked...lols.

Zenith bank should be the first on that list, the other two do "coded lay offs"
I very much doubt GTBank....

The admin of Kebbi branch can attest to that...

Segun wants to make money to impress shareholders(competing for profit declaration with 1stBank and Zenith) and neglect staff, When Uncle T was alive, staff had the best of care and also the shareholders smiled to the bank

in the last 2 years, GTBANK lost some really awesome hands, HR whom is now in Union bank (poaching GT staff)

a very good marketer in south south who moved to Fidelity and took all his accounts and loyal hard working guys.

@ bolded, A* is useless now, before now, 2 consecutive A*s gives yu a rise but now, Group heads and Regional coordinators do what they like with it and when u sought to know why yu are not considered, they remind you the bank can only promote a very few

i trust GTbank

the way their staff attend to customers is wonderful unlike one useless bank in the name of Sterling Bank. Sterlingbank can delay you until you start regretting why you opened an account with them.
GTB and good customer service in the same sentence ?

What of First Bank ? Reminds me of civil service.
ABeg o, first wetin? Firstbank top management that has issued a statement on how they plan to lay-off 1000 workers. The banks profit in 2015 is 80% lower than 2014, so laying off is unavoidable. No mention that yeye bank!

Don't worry they would soon join the sacking because Nothing is moving in Nigeria due to the clueless government.

Konnektions146:
OP,

I guess yu are not sure of what you just wrote.

Call 10 GTBANK staff and ask them in confidence and you see they are working because work no dey.

Promotion in GTBANK now is something undesirable, alot oof staff on a particular grade for 6 years and no hope pf promotion

GTBANK has not done any salary review in the past 5 years,

When Uncle T. was alive, allowances and bonuses were flying like no man business and staff working with passion, now nothing is paid

Even as little as profit sharing is a priviledge

only your salary and a meagre leave allowance (10% of basic and not 10% of gross)

that bank is living on past glory

one Admin officer now to manage min. of 5 branches, what would the others do?.....they just let them go last week.

more "lettiing go" would happen in GTBANK this year.

wondered why their staff are becoming increasingly aggressive,=---== no zeal to work cos no motivation

Oga Segun need to get his acts right
now this is someone well informed.

Someone said tinubu now owns first bank of bank, i beg na true? Yet, he is not corrupt, na wa o. Where did he get the money to buy off Nigerian bank? I refuse to believe it is true. No wonder first bank of Nigeria gives statement of account four time a month on
#2,000.00 account balance. I think this is exploitation. Anyway, i have to leave it there for them to steal until it is zero balance becos i have stopped putting money there.

Re: Top 3 Nigerian Banks Where Staff Do Not Work In Fear by biridon(m): 5:30am On Jun 09, 2016
And no one noticed that the 3 banks above use more of contract staff where they paid them peanuts to retain cheap labour for years..
Eg. customer service personnel is these banks are all contract staffs..While some banks use full staff as customer service personnel.
..things are not really as they appear.
