Yorubas Igbos don't hate you, NL and all its petty tribal shenanigans is just a negligible microcosm of the bigger picture in the real world...out here yorubas and Igbos get married, mingle well, and no iota of tribal sentiments are expressed, my dad of blessed memory was very close to Tai Solarin(also of blessed memory) and I remember how as a child I used to sit down listening to both men chat about politics in Nigeria and the world, Tai Solarin remains one of the brightest minds to come out of this country...very enlightening period of my early years I must admit... my point is whatever happens on NL stays in NL, you will never see us clash in the real world, so pick your enemies wisely...Cause Chukwudi in Lagos is more concerned about how his container will arrrive on time from high sea without sinking, and how to send money to his aging parents in Owerri from his business merchandise than worry about Mr Tajudeen Adeyemo's grouse with Igbos, pick your enemies wisely.

This article is a personal view, it doesn't represent Igbo's position, considering the fact that the attack is "alleged" to be militants, without any prove.

My heart goes out to the bereaved, may God give them the fortitude to bear there loss.

My thoughts exactly. There is no evidence that OP is not one of the many yorubas that start igbo versus Niger Delta thread.

For all we know, this could be the Fulani master plan to destroy the south. All the attacks started wen Buhari became President.

When will Igbos learn?

Why are they so hopelessly naive and open?

HAS ANY SINGLE YORUBA OPENED A THREAD IN NAIRALAND TO STRONGLY CONDEMN FULANI HERDSMEN KILLINGS IN ENUGU OR KILLINGS OF INNOCENT BYSTANDERS AND PROTESTERS IN ABA AND ONITSHA?

Instead you are taunted and blamed!

Why do we ALWAYS play from the position of submissiveness?

Very mischievous post. Read the op and digest the content, then, you know what he's out for. Yorubas should avoid this thread and allow it to die a natural death.

On behalf of the Igbo nation,

We condemn in strongest terms the attacks on Lagos & Ogun states by criminals from the creeks.

We will never support the killing of innocent citizens and destruction of properties.

We also want to send our heartfelt condolensces to the families of the victims and pray that God in His infinite mercies will grant you the fortitude to bear these losses.

The Igbos are a peace loving set of people and once again, we condemn the attacks on our Yoruba brothers by criminals from the creeks.

We want to use this medium to call on the security agencies to rise up and do their job.

It is such a shame that after the first attack, nothing was done to prevent the second attack which was of a bigger scale and took more casualties.

Peace to Southern Nigeria.

I dont care, Yoruba's dont care about Igbos. They will be the first to jubilate at any death of an Igbo. Did awolowo care about the 2miilion dead igbos? I can't pretend that I care please

Uzo-uwani comes to mind
Biafra protesters comes to mind

I dont care what happens to anyone of them cos they rejoice at the death of my brothers, they say blood is thicker than water.
