Please tell me you understand the ethical implication of the property you are ascribing to your God. You are saying that your concept of God is the creator and causative factor of evil for the sole purpose of being 'needed' or to create relevance.

A computer programmer that does this would be imprisoned because it is unethical. You cannot kill someone so that his family will buy a coffin from you and be considered ethically justified from our perspective, etc.

Not saying such a God cannot exist, the Greek Gods were remarkably flawed from our perspective and if we are going by conjecture, anything is possible including the fact that I am invisible right now. You will have to back up that claim though.

I'm a Christian by choice and not because My parents forced their religion down my throat but I can say some Christians aggressive behaviours and utterances while preaching and using hell as threats has made atheist.

You should worship God because of your conviction and not because you don't want to go to hell

Secondly I had a friend who was telling me that her father was a pastor of xyz church and her mom an envangelist.They forced her to be in the choir against her wish as a child. When she became more matured and older with a source of income she was still in the choir but was looking for a way to quit because she saw a lot of hypocrisy going on.

So on a faithful Sunday she was supposed to be the lead chorister and all of a sudden the assistant pastor snatched the microphone from her hands saying she cannot stand on a holy pulpit to sing with painted nails and lipstick. That was when she got angry,went to her sit,picked up her bags and left. Right at the altar.her mother ran after her demanding explanations of what went on there. She called the mother's bluff,went home packed het stuffs and left.if you see het you can never say she's a pastor's daughter and she's an atheist

Bottom line is that extremism and force used by religious parents often make their kids end up as atheists Especially When They discover the hypocrisy that goes on in the church. If a child is allowed to choose his religion and think outside THE box I'm telling you he will be more dedicated and passionate about his religion

Religion isn't something you can force on a child. The child will only pretend for a while to satisfy you and rebel when you can't force him again

Therefore personal conviction ANd good character will influence him to become a Christian rather than force and emotional abuse
