Waist pain in women is a very wide differential. Cystic ovary, PID, cervicities, appendicitis, pregnancy to just muscular/ligament issue.

Go to a doctor and get an exam and if she is sexually active, rule out STI and pregnancy.

pls my penis has been itching me for two weeks now nd its all swollen cant walk cos of the pains

Hmm...rule out infectious disease. Sounds like varicocele. Find a urologist ASAP before you do permanent damage. Good luck

Hotspec: try lamisi.l, not sure this is same name in Nigeria but try asking chemists/pharmacists the equivalent there.

Janeamyy: we'll have they tried to investigate the cause for the said ulcer. If the root cause is not dealt with, medications is useless.

Roseval: this is not good at all. Are you eating adequately a balanced meal? Do see your OB and do a work up.

Julbu: have you be diagnosed of PCOS? If you have, then treatment is symptomatic- meaning whatever symptom you are exhibiting or disturbing you is treated. Metformi.n or an OCP is usually given. Are you trying to conceive?

Hi Doctors. Please I need help

.firstly. I am really skinny. Under weight maybe.. I weigh 49kg ... And 5'8tall...
Most times when I stand for long I tend to feel dizzy and it only stops when I throw up... It has embarrassed me a couple of times.
I also tend to be short of breath when I do little things like climb staircases.. my heart beats fast and I loose breath. I don't know what's wrong with me.
I want to do a total body check up. But I don't know where to, here in Lagos. At an affordable rate.

Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Michaelanapuwa(m): 5:30am On Jul 27, 2016
There is the need for us to focus more on preventive healthcare rather than waiting for symptoms to manifest. Nigerians have to imbibe the regular medical checkup culture even if its just once a year. This will go a long way in solving some of the issues we have in the healthcare sector today. https://www.nairaland.com/3246379/regular-health-medical-checkup

See a doctor fast!!!
Go to a general hospital if you can't afford a private one. But do it fast.

First you don't know what's causing the ulcer. What you're describing fits into what could be the description of the complication of an ulcer or what is causing it.
Go to a hospital that has upper gastrointestinal endocscopy facilities. If the hospital you go to don't have, ask to be referred to one that does.

Thanks for the good job that you're doing here. May God reward you abundantly.
Please,i felt pain at an isolated part of my foot. I saw doctors and i had drugs without any difference. After about a year,it flew and i didn't feel it again.
I noticed that it moves to the other leg, right foot, and as I write,I still feel the pain despite the fact that I am on different drugs from another doctor whom I gave the background to this ailment. Besides,I equally feel numbness on my upper leg, unabated.
Please,is there anything I can do?

ampiclox will not harm u but it won't do d following as well
1- prevent u frm getting pregnant
2- prevent u frm STI's like HIV and d likes
moreover it's a wrong use of drug and can predispose u to resistance..... just try to use a condom.

Was the bleeding during or after sex?
causes of vaginal bleeding during sex are quite numerous and culd be beter narrowed down of I know d age of d person in question
Another question is does she have any other symptoms like vaginal discharge, itching , burning sensation or is she on pills?
some of d causes includes STI's, abnormal growth etc
in young pple one wuld tilt towards STI as against growth.
Try to see a gynaecologist.

Doctors in the house please help me. I gave birth 23days ago. I had heavy bleeding twice including a serious emergency one(it was God that kept me alive)and done 2 mva for retained products on both occasions . The scan I did yesterday said small product is remaining and misoprostol was inserted since yesterday but I had no contraction or saw any products. Is this normal? Also I feel pressure on my vagina and the last time I felt this pressure I had bleeding. My delivery and first mva was at UPTH,the second and more serious one was a close private hospital. Both ends want me to watch and see but I'm worried. Pls help

Give it time. The contraction may not be much; but a vaginal or pelvic pressure. See your gynecologist.
