ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The General University Admission Requirements that apply uniformly across the faculties as well as the Specific Faculty Admission Requirements are displayed on the University websites: https://uniben.waeup.org or uniben.edu To qualify for the entrance examinations into the various Pre-Degree Studies, candidate must satisfy the stated general and specific requirements for admission.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
All applications should be done between Monday 26th July 2016 and Midnight of 12th September, 2016.The procedure for application is as follows:
1.Visitwww.uniben.eduOruniben.waeup.org

2.Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process (not the cyber-cafe’s mail).

3.Click on JUPEB Pre-Degree Studies 2016/2017

4.Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.

5.Provide all necessary information. Note that * means compulsory fields.
6.An immediate mail will be sent to the provided e-mail address.

7.Open your mail to get your system generated ID and Password that you will use to login.

8.On uniben.waeup.orgclick on 'Login' (top right of the front page).9.Enter your user name and the password from the mail to login.

10.To start the application process, please click on 'Edit application record' and provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.

11.Upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION AND FAILURE/FORFEITURE OF ADMISSION

12.To pay for the Application,click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “College Pay” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee with an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial Bank.

13.Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application on-line.

14.You cannot edit your application after submission.

15.Print out the Application slip.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

Admission into various programmes shall be throughentrance examination to be conducted on 24th of September, 2016 by 9 am at the Ugbowo campus of the University.

*O’Level Result (Max of 2 sittings)
*Four ( Passport Photographs
*Birth Certificate
*Certificate of State of origin (Optional)

If you're talking generally, I was admitted through jupeb, though another school ..... but If you're talking about someone being admitted with the help of jupeb from UNIBEN, then there's no one.. since UNIBEN just commenced the programme last year

Entrance exam is usually obj, it can never be essay...........School fees varies depending on the institution, But I know UNIBEN's is BTW 150k and 250k...........The practicals are a bit more advanced than that done during 0'level but for chemistry you'd do ur normal qualitative and quantitative analysis and heat of neutralization.......physics practical is still the same as O'level though they'll introduce other aspects.......for biology( it's divided into cell biology, zoology, botany and microbiology) so you'd be given specimens for the various sections to identify.........when you resume, you'll know more

yeah, only the ones you'll do, syllabus is available, it'll be given to you.... but for past questions, we were not allowed to take the questions out of the exam hall, so it may not be available, except it was leaked out

its about 150-250k, you offer three courses which will be further broken into 4 unit courses eg PHY001,002,003,004 then the program last for nine months or two semesters
I don't know the answer to the second question

The requirement will be provided by the school..... follow what's on your schools website

It depends on if the school conducts exam for DE applicants.....I did mine in UNILAG and unilag doesnt conduct an exam for DE applicants, they only use your result whether you're applying with jupeb, Bsc., HND, etc.... but for some other schools they conduct an examination for all DE applicants, whether jupeb, BSc, etc.... And some other schools don't conduct another DE exam for those that applied with jupeb, but they conduct for others applying with other certificates...... so I don't know what category UNIBEN falls in, but since FG has cancelled any written or CBT exams conducted by the tertiary institutions , I think most schools will adopt the method used by unilag for admitting DE students from this year onwards ...but if not, an oral interview would be carried out( if they comply with FG's directive)

Yeah! I think Uniben only needs that during clearance. Anyways let's see what pops out after registration.

uniben's jupeb school fees is 120k,BT I guess science dept might be much
