Personally, I wish nobody responded to that post. As in zero response and absolute silence. Would have simply been more deserving. Very appalling post. The poster may just even have done it to needle us. Sounds like someone coming back with a new moniker and looking for who to rile. Long hiss! [/quote I concur, it sounds like a Joke to me |

Good day my wonderful researchers and advisers. I want to say thank you and to relate my own experience oh. Started out last year April 2015 found out I was pregnant. The cost and process I read about was so encouraging, but by June l had a miscarriage and paused. But did not give up. Though I had to encourage my neighbor to go ahead that it was worth it birthing in the US from what I read here and also she had an existing visa. she had a successful trip as well. By Jan I found out I was pregnant again . Plans resumed, meanwhile at this time our heavy account has gone down coz of a building project. So I had to start building up our accounts deligently to be buoyant enough to show as proof when statement is required.also requested hubby does same with his salary acct less spending from them (meanwhile as devil Sabi show himself, hubby own no get any beta deposits except 139k and allowance of 500k he arranged to b deposited while he waits for other allowance an d basic to drop) I made enquiries and finally decided in May to apply cos hubby kept on waiting for the monies to gather up, interview date Dat was available was july, I wanted to die, but at the same time this gave us 2 months salary dropping g into my acct. I was really worried cos I felt hubby didn't take it serious like I did. I later briefed him what I learnt that confidence matters and that he has to be bold and straightforward when he answers because most likely he will b the one answering even though I will b asked few questions and we should pray for favor not to be asked to present documents. on interview day. We did prints and stood on the queue, cos of my 2yr old son the attendant queued us next to one mama, next thing I see paper to mama say pick up visa. I smile, but before u know it I begin fear say what if this one next card na blue sheet. He beckoned next we stepped forward. Vo: good morning Me: good morning hubby : good morning vo: passports please Vo: why are you going to the us me: beckon on my husband to answer hubby: my wife is going to have our baby, my son will be on summer holiday and I will be joining later to assist my wife vo: where are you going in the states hubby: sugarland Houston Texas vo: which hospital, have you contacted any doctor hubby: houston methodist Sugarland hospital and we have a correspondence with a doctor (wanted to bring out documents) he ignored me. vo: what is your budget for this trip hubby 16k plus vo: what does this cover, everything? Hubby: flight, hospital, doc, will be staying with my auntie. vo: what do you do hubby: it bla bla bla.... vo: how much do you earn? Hubby: ***,***.** Vo: what do you do madam me: biz dev...responsible for..with xyz and we are into this and that. vo: how much is your salary me: ×××,×××,.×× Vo: tell me about your travel history me: been to UK twice, first 2013 alone, 2nd 2015 as a family. vo:and you (to hubby) Hubby: yes av been to kenya training, London for family vacation and training vo: pick up your visa, he circles Tha address on the white paper, make sure you travel with your documents to show at point of entry, pay bills etc.....me I don switch off listening oh as I see white paper. My son says mummies he still has your paper make I collect our passport..... I laf for my mind say my Bobo display is when you smile Dat he is keeping our paper. Oga collect paper we got outside. And saw that we even finished before our interview time of 11am. To tell u how early and prepared we went there. Poe iah houston we were 2 preggie in the klm flight had to get there first. She was wit her hubby so she get support. Cbp:good evening me: good evening cbp: how was your flight and what are you here for me: for childbirth and my son is on holiday from school cbp: do u have any correspondence with a doctor? Let me see Me: hands him doctors letter. cbp: have you made payments, how much do you have me: not yet, they don't accept up until my arrival. I have 5xxx and my dollar card as well. cbp: do you have any food item? Me: yes egusi, agbono, yam flour.... cbp: just hold on there madam someone will come for you. (A guy came asked where is d passport picked it from his desk and said come with me madam, I say this is d counting part, almighty secondary inspection) Got in the room with lots of people waiting, my son started disturbing Dat he still wants to push my hand luggage. They took us to d toy room. Next thing the boy start I want to pu. I tell am say I no know toilet oh Dat he is on his own. If it's bad he should do it on his diapers. I looked at the time and started counting, asked the boy to pick a toy to play with. Later they came and asked me if I needed anything, water, food I declined. after like 1hr, I took out diapers to change d boy to look for the ladies, someone pointed to d direction. immediately I came out heading to the toy room again, one of them called me (at this time the other preggie woman has come into the waiting room too) cbp: what are you here for me: childbirth cbp: what do you do Me: work as this this this cbp: said he didn't hear me: repeated myself cbp: how much do you have with you Me: 5××× and 20£ Cbp: any insurance, company insurance me: have 5xxx cash and my dollar car to pay am a self pay patient cbp: how long are you staying me: 3 months cbp: did you tell the vo during your interview you were coming to give birth me: yes I did cbp: why is it that most Nigerians come to the us to give birth instead of going to the UK Dat is 6hrs away and us over 16hrs. Me: I chose to answer him passively cos he was forming that it was not an important question. I said I wouldn't know why others choose but I believe it's to get the best. cbp: do you have any food items me: egusi, agbono, etc (I declared on my card) cbp: stamped my passport, dats wen I noticed my son own was stamped by the other guy. Went out and saw d preggie woman hubby waiting, he asked me hope she is fine in there and there was sits, I tell am say yes, went to arrival and picked up my bags. 4 bags loaded it on d trolly myself u Wan try strength? 34wks oh. No custom disturbance, just asked for my landing card, took exit and saw my host waiting for me. Already calling my hubby. We thank God for everything. Sorry for the epistle, but dats my story. Thanks everyone who contributed positively to this thread. D main professors, am loyal. I don't want to mention names so I don't miss anyone out. You guys are too much. 50 Likes |

However dey were just relocating to NY to start residency and post delivery support is important to me dats why I couldn't even stay and rent a place. See me feeling like a star and rushing to post "in d spirit of paying it forward.." buh e back fire big time. As soon as I posted, I was warned, post deleted and I was banned...apparently I had posted similar stuff in d past.

@ TOKNOW. Baby took in amniotic fluid, one of his lungs collapsed at birth, wasn't breathing well (although naa their report no be God report). Baby was on oxygen for 2 days and was given antibiotics . The story too long. I was busy screaming that they should give me my baby after my baby had stayed there for 3 days, because i remembered a lady's bill here (on NL) was about $200,000. I was in a dilemma, i wanted the best for my baby and i also didn't want my baby to stay there too long. Was so perturbed but later that day, we got a very good news that our baby was fine but still required monitoring of his sugar level and would be discharged the following day. The following day wifey and baby were discharged.I realised the importance of giving birth abroad when we got to Nijja ,because my wife's friend had a baby that took in amniotic fluid and the baby died the following day. We are so grateful to God . Cheers 12 Likes |

Honestly I don't know. I asked the people at Dr. D's office about the bill and they said I have to contact Clara Maas myself. I didn't bother becos I ready don know anyone that has used them before. A family to my host just used St. Mary's hospital in june, and her feedbacks were good. So I just stayed with St. Marys. Tyrah1: |
