yes it is injector but might not be the injector cos an injector an output device that is just a dummy that receive control signal from the engine computer as result of series of decision it has to make based on input from sensors .
Logical reason will tell you to check input (sensors) first before checking the outputs(injectors) which is the reason we always advocate to go for diagnosis to check the complete systems as whole to avoid do trial and error that will need you nowhere is more expensive at the end of the day with no tangible resolution at hands.
Call autologic @ 08061166316 to run diagnostics on your car o determine what is is responsible for the fuel consumption

also driving conditions eg speed and driving patterns


a common thing nigerians do is compare two different models of cars when the car are total different in engine size eg comparing a 1.8 litre engine with 3.2litre engine

also gives the information from what the manufacturer has about mpgs of your car


without all the above infor

your mechanic will suck your balls dry
