From the World Cup images below, you will see Vargas was top. Sanchez becomes a choice when the attackers are not delivering. Not that it is his natural role.

You guys claimed Sanchez is not the number 1 striker for Chile, I posted formation charts where Sanchez was played as a lone forward in a 5-4-1 formation, if he wasnt their main striker, he won't be starting up top as a lone forward. Eduardo Vargas would have been leading the lines in such formation.

All these arguments are just geared to delude gullible folks that Iheanacho is better than Sanchez as a striker.
There are some arguments you just confine to your room and don't bring it to the public grin

I did not indict anything. Simple again. In the game against Australia, Sanchez was not the top striker. That was the opening game of Chile at the World Cup. When the attack did not deliver, Sampaoli pushed Sanchez front.

If there was a striker like Ivan Zamorano at Chile, Sanchez will not play top. When the strikers are not delivering, the coach can push Sanchez forward, just like the case at Arsenal.

If there was a top striker delivering at Arsenal, Wenger will not push him forward. It is still the same thing and images show this.

The questionable argument comes from you. You know Sanchez natural role is not as a top striker. He can play as a striker but it is not his natural role. I said this from day one but you chose to keep arguing a blatant fact.

Meanwhile, to those who say we are over hyping Kelechi, perhaps you guys didn't watch him at the U17 World Cup, so you may not understand our point of view.

If a legend like Ian Wright can consider Iheanacho starting ahead of a legend like Aguero, pray tell, who is this Sanchez that Kelechi cannot bench? Is Sanchez better than Sergio Kun Aguero? Does he have a better goals-game ratio?

When English press is telling us that Rashford can bench Zlatan, then it's Kelechi that is even better than Rashford that can't compare with Sanchez? Is Sanchez better than Zlatan?


Nobody is over hyping anybody, where was Sanchez at Kelechi's age? The only thing Sanchez has over Kelechi is EXPERIENCE

Ovie Ejaria can play the U20 games, it means nothing. I hope Rohr gives him a Super Eagles call up and cap him soon. I do not see the bright Nigerian rejecting a Super Eagles call up.
