Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, has banned Nigerians from seeking asylum in the country.

The German authorities have claimed that most Nigerians fleeing the country to Germany were seeking a better life.

According to Angela, most Nigerian migrants were not victims of Boko Haram, but hiding under that as an avenue to get asylum.

She said that Germany opened its boarders to Nigeria so as to help give them protection but that privilege has been abused.

Angel Merkel, said that this year alone about 10,000 Nigerians applied for asylum seeker status in Germany, and 13,000 applied from Eritrea.

Germany, qwhich is one of the most sought after destination for asylum because of its open policy has now closed its borders.

Speaking after her tour to Mali, Niger and Ethiopia, she said “we presume they are coming for economic reasons which is in contrast to people in Syria, Iraq, who are fleeing from real persecutions in their homeland, notably from ISIS.”

People seeking asylum from Nigeria ain't just honest with the Germans, imagine someone from Lagos state seeking asylum in Germany.....
that's just one of the desperate path some Nigerians will take to leave this country.....

Germany is a country that has battled gender inequality to a stand still.Merkel as the chancellor of the most economically vibrant country in europe and as a mother she felt infuriated by PMB's comments about his wife that caused asylum seekers respite in her country.Worse still PMB went seeking for financial favours only for him to run his mouth like tap.I guess it was simply a ripple effect.

You're just typing jargons. This has nothing to do with Buhari's speech, in fact Buhari's speech should have helped those seeking asylum as it would give them a reason for sympathy. Imagine a female asylum seeker saying she fled Nigeria because of gender inequality, the Chancellor would be thrilled!
