For the sake of doing crazy things! Can you imagine this? Running VirtualBox in a Virtual Machine. I could not take it further (by installing another VM in VBox running inside a VM) because of hardware constraints.

You can do it just as you install any other Linux distro in VirtualBox. My version of Virtualbox doesn't have Kali Linux as an option so I choose Debian Linux as the distro option. It works.

Uh, have you downloaded the Kali Linux ISO file? Download it to a folder and also install virtualbox.
Start Virtualbox and add a new Virtual machine of type Linux and choose the Debian/GNU Linux distribution. Select 64-bit if your ISO file is a 64-bit ISO.
Customize the properties of the Virtual machine (memory, CPU, etc) and setup other options as you need.
Then start the virtual machine and point it to the downloaded ISO file.
The entire process is easy with the guided mode. Just follow the steps in virtualbox and accept default options where you are not sure. Youtube may be of help if you need some guidance.

Then get the 32 bit version, or just go ubuntu or one of its variants (kubuntu or xubuntu or lubuntu). I would recommend getting linux mint (32-bit) instead. That way you have mp3 support out of the box

I have tried using the terminal but no joy. Any ideas anybody, on how to solve this problem? I had a similar problem on linux mint 17.3.I switched to lite and now similar problem.

Hi finally ported to Ubuntu 16.10 yesterday. Just one problem, my HSPA internet dongle that worked for my formal operating system (windows 7)is not working with Ubuntu.

What modem do you use and how do you set it up. Thanks in advance. I will really appreciate any help i can get.
