Greetings Sir, I've read up your thread up to this page and I really appreciate what you are doing here. You're very passionate about what you do.
I'll be serving as a corp member next match and I'm really really praying to be posted to Ogun/Oyo states because I'll really like to go into agriculture (this is the surest sector of the economy now), my question is this:
I have 500k in my savings, will it be enough to start up and manage a plantain farm ( leasing of land, cultivation and other necessities) how far can 500k carry me?
Thanks for your time.

Since you still have the time and energy,my candid advice is to keep the money and then come to learn and acquire practical knowledge; If you are done with that, then you can start your plantain farm.
It's not advisable to lease land for Plantain because of its perennial nature.
How enough the 500k will go will depend on the size of farmland you are starting with.

Commercially produced fruit should be washed and dipped in fungicide prior to shipping; protect fruit from injury; remove flower parts which can harbour fungus
