CHAPTER TEN

fancy ushered me into his car as we left the campus in his Range rover. he sat next to me radiating this devilish charming smile from his face,. the cars moved, his fans were bumping on his car waving and screaming as we drove through them.
i felt very important.like i was the daughter of the governor.

fancy tried everything he could to get me into a conversation but i kept mute and ignored his talks as i kept forming angry. He kept trying untill we left the school road into the major road leading to town.
after some time he clicked on a button by the doorside. The convoy stop, he came down, demanded the key from the driver driving us and send his P.A,his guards and drivers with the other cars home leaving us with just the range rover.

He then took the driver sit and i reluctantlly joined him in the front sit before he drove off. He continued trying to get me into conversation but i still kept mute.

FANCY: Really this slient treatment is it the best treatment between us right now?

I turned,stared at him then looked away still keeping mute.

FANCY: ok am sorry about what i did.i know you dont like that kind of attention i drew to you.
ME: (still kept a long face) blackmailing me with what i hate most.you think that was cools,that after that we would remain cool.
FANCY: Am really sorry for bring you out like that. You were a hard nut to crack, you even say we are friends yet you run away from me for reasons i dont even know. So i desperately needed a way to get you closer.

I looked into his eye,i didnt even know where to anchor my anger cos i couldnt be angry at him. I lean back, looked away,at the sight outside. but at interval i looked at him and i would met his eyes on me smiling. This brought back the shy girl in me,i look down. my body chemistry was reacting rapidly. My emotional tension was heightend. His eyes were causing damage to me. The usual 5 mins journey to my redsential area was taking long than usual. Although i once told fancy my area, but he had never come to my apartment.he kept driving and kept staring at me at intervals. Once more silience broke out in the car.i kept fighting with my own emotion while Fancy's eyes was still on me. Fancy notice i was not at ease.he pushed the on button of the car sound system and a song which i later knew to be BEYONCY-POSION start playing.

Sign of victory was written all over his face as we started walking down to the stairs. Some other Students who were sitting on the beacony upstairs were all staring at us when we entered.I had heard some weird things like me being a lesbian.mayb because dey had never seen me with a guy in or off campus.i wasnt bother about dey were saying. So you can imagin the brimes of surprise written on their faces as i walked upstair with fancy who they had not known who he was. As we continue walking upstairs, i could hear whispers and laughter but i paid no heed cos my mind was bumping back and forth. if fancy tries anything i wont able to control myself which i dont want.

Sliently we walked up to my door.i searched my hand bag,brought out my keys, insert the key into the key hole and wanted to turn when fancy held my hand. I turned,looked at him smiling with his reddish lips and the urge to kiss him became unbearable. He drew near and stared into my eyes and My whole body went up in flames
