No, you made no valid point. MMM is sustained by endless Provide Help and Get Help. The number of entrants is not particularly important provided those who are already participants PH and GH. MMM is in around 118 countries with over 200 million participants. Most of our enemies are not aware of that fact.

You made my point again, whether it's new entrants or those already there, when participation goes down, the scheme collapses. I also like your analysis of 118 countries, do you mind naming those countries? I know for a fact that it has been banned in more than 20 countries grin grin

From my understanding of MMM, it is a peer lending scheme, where lenders and borrowers make an agreement, the yield is 30% profit in 30 days but what happens when the borrower defaults? What happens if more and more people starts to default?
What would make people want to avoid a 30% financial growth?

For MMM to survive, at least for now, they need as many people as they can get and that is why they invest so much in getting new members.

Did you know MMM could be sustained even if no new person is admitted provided those who are already registered continue to Provide Help and Get Help?

Are you seriously asking this? A few things that comes to mind, a better scheme comes along promising 40% or more returns. War and terrorism, crash of the internet, government taxation and regulations.....etc.

@abbey621,
In other words, you would never engage in anything because you fear something better {or even worse} would come up? What a mindset! Congrats!

My mindset has served me well than most people here on Nairaland. What separates the whites from blacks most times is that when it comes to investing and making financial decisions they don't just jump in without doing their research. Someone comes from Russia and dumps a scheme on Nigerians and due to the poverty and the desperation, most people buy into it. When it eventually crashes, the promoters will be nowhere to be found leaving the consumers as victims! Any scheme or company that refuses to be regulated or registered with the government of the country they are operating in should be met with skepticism, they pay now but what is the guarantee that they won't do the same thing they did in Russia and China?

Banning MMM doesn't stop it from functioning. China, South Africa, Zimbabwe, India, Turkey, Philippines, USA, France, just too numerous to mention.

MMM is a mutual peer-to-peer donation system, not a corporation that requires government regulation. Do you want the government to regulate how you make offertory at your local church, or how you give gifts to people?

You named less than 10 countries, please at least name 30 so I can take you seriously even China that you mentioned, they are no longer operational there as the government has declared them illegal, I see you also mentioned USA tell me what kind of weed have you been smoking? Listen to yourself, would you like a company from Russia selling insurance in Nigeria without the approval of the government? Can such a company ever do such rubbish in a country like the USA or the UK? Why must we always encourage scams in Nigeria? Why!

Facebook was never blocked, no protest made at government for failed promises, the naira is headed to the abyss, international investors are leaving the country, even the president runs away from the heat of this nation at every giving opportunity using international meeting as alibi. MMM is a financial revolution, a new religion that all of us must have faith in because it is a means to financial emancipation and empowerment. Except you are all these sport betting outfit, stockbroker, baba ijebu rep....or a politician.......you would make an indept research into your claims.

The only way MMM will collapse:
All participants due to provide will decide not to PH, all those to get help will decide not to GH. But is not possible until banks or the investment that can guarantee/ give you 30%+ on your deposits in a month.

FYI I have registered 2 people today
This community is growing and it will only keep growing with already 200m participants globally and it is already going digital by the use of bitcoins (e-money)

People are providing help of N4m+, and when they get help they can easily finance a small biz.

You did not join MMM, I still get paid
You join, we both get paid
You doubt, you still remain the same
You try it, you will always smile
You frown at it, you go broke
Join MMM today http:///?i=siclng@hotmail.com

See you!

I think you should also tell us the other side of it, I mean how much help you have provided within the period that you receive these respective amount and how much you have cashed out then we can know whether you are making profit or not.
besides, since the money you paid is not being invested in a profitable business, is it not reasonable to ask yourself where is the so call 30% increase is coming from, who is paying those that works day and night to keep d system out of crash and ensure smooth transitions? MMM is a build up of debt that will certainly crash someday, some people would have make enough money and quite while others will not be that lucky but the government is looking at the effect on everyone.[/quotee Traffic that is on that site each day can generate funds like dat, it is the most visited in Nigeria right now

MMM is more like shuffling/transferring money from one account to the other. No investment, just random money transfers. After a month, 30% increase of another person's money; another instruction to transfer to another. 7% commission for referral.

God bless you. I keep asking people persuading me to invest into this MMM that where is the 30% interest prmosied coming from. Usually they become dumbfounded anytime I ask this question. The so called interest is coming from new entrants who would in turn want to get their own 30% from another person and the cycle continues till the scheme collapses. And by then, some people's money will be stucked - especially those that invested massive fund into the scheme. I ain't trying to discourage anyone, I'm just trying to employ people to reason it out.

I can give answers to your questions when you are ready to listen
