Pictured is the lady identified as Monica Onokah who was involved in a fatal accident which happened yesterday at Mile 2 bus stop by Festac town in Lagos. A container truck fell on the said lady and crushed her legs in the process as she was about boarding a bike on the road. According to reports, the bike man managed to escape but the lady tripped while trying to run, and the container fell on her legs.

People came to her rescue and when they couldn't figure out how to take the very heavy container off her, they decided to cut off her legs with a cutlass. The lady died as she was being rushed to the hospital.

Is it that these trailers do not have anchors or steel bars to hold the containers in place or what?

But convert it to "we are"
Followed by "we have"

People can be so dumb sha. Why should they consider cutting off her leg when they don't have first aid readily available to curtail the bleeding.. Guess she died after losing so much blood.

from the picture,
only one of her foot was caught under the container.
any butcher should know to amputate at the ankle.
(even haitians knew to get generator powered saws to free people trapped under buildings during their earthquake).
and you apply a tourniquet before you get to work.
i bet they used a blunt machete.
