I think it might have to do with you using a Nigerian ATM card....do you have someone in the UK that can use their card to pay for you?

Meanwhile, has NMC sent you an Authorization to test and Pearson vue log in details because without these, you will also not be able to pay for CBT.

I have someone in the UK use their card to try to pay for me and also in the US (but you know the name of the card has to be the same as the name of the candidate so it didn't work). I have all log in details. Have you paid for yours? and if yes, how did you do it? @gratefulme40

Paid with my card and had no problems.

Well, our case might be slightly different. I trained in Nigeria but have been out of Nigeria for a while, so I didn't have to use a Nigerian bank card.

I have gotten authorization for Pearson Vue to take the test and someone in the UK is helping out with the payment but has not been able to do so because it keeps on showing error message.I don't know how to go about it now and I have gotten my ATT already.

Ohh I see, thank you very much. I'd try to find other ways to figure it out. If you find out anything about how people in Nigeria can make this payment, PLEASE do not fail to inform me, thanks. @gratefulme40

I'm a silent observer. I have to say this concerning paying for NCLEX from Nigeria.
If you are encountering problems paying, it's not a network issue.
Simply have someone pay for you using a card that is not a Nigerian card. All you have to do is to change your address on Pearson website while registering to be the same as the address on the person's card paying for you. It's not a same name thing as someone commented above but a same address thing.
Had similar experience, had to change my address to my uncle's address and it's worked. Pearson vue will tell you that Nigerian card is not acceptable cos the addresses on it are not traceable.
I'm on my way to the states more tips on employer issues. I signed with passport USA .

I am told the requirements to sign up with passport USA is either a pass in Nclex or cgfns with an experience in at least a 100beds + hospital.
in my case, I had already passed nclex before I approached them, had an interview with them and then given a contract to sign.

true but funny enough I think the main issue I their requirement. Through my conversation with some of them they focus on nurses who in past one/two years were in acute care and managing over 100 beds...coupled with having cgfns and ielts. Even having nclex would be best chance...from what I've noticed. Anyway let is in if you have more recruiters...cheers

if you have a BSc degree in biochemistry then i think you may qualify for the accelerated nursing program. Just try to contact a school and ask for the requirements. You may also be told to carry out credentials evaluation for an academic report. This will be submitted to the school and they will decide where you fit in.

since she is already a nurse she can apply for registration first as an lpn so she can start earning money while she works on her BSN. OR if she has someone over there in Canada that can invite her over then she can apply to York University for their 20 months BSN program for international nurses. The school will only admit her if she is already on ground there that is why i suggested the lpn route. Or she can do NNAS evaluation and go straight to university depending on what level the school decide to start her on.
