My 7weeks broilers have been down with CRD for 3weeks now,i have given them 2 diff types of drugs but no improvement.It is seriously affecting their growth.Gurus in the house ur advice is needed pls.God bless our hustle.

I went to Obasanjo farm today to buy my chicks.
When I got there, they said they hatch on Monday & Thursday.
After pleading due my tight scheduled, the lady later accepted to help.
I ordered 50 broilers & 150 cockerels but alas!
I was only able to see 25 broilers & 50 cockerels

Someone should come to my rescue, I bought some 4 weeks old Agric cockerels like 7 weeks ago, I caged dem & feed them with top feed finisher, I haven't noticed a prolific weight over the 7 weeks of rearing, sometimes last week I release dem from cage to free range, they go back to the cage as soon food is there.
The most annoying part is that these birds wont eat kitchen waste like rice/beans. I'm fed up cos my initial thought was that by now, I would have been free from buying feeds.
Someone should come to my rescue pls

If your compound is a personal one and is fenced, you have to put their feeder outside their house. It will encourage them to feed outside and not return to their pen.

Try and use cracked or grinded maize too, It will reduce your cost.

Its calcium deficiency
Visit ur vet and ask for calcium D or any calcium drug they have then if u have a food Miller around u request for bone meal and always mix with their food within 1 wk u will see results

My main interest is actually chicken processing, that is buying live chicken and selling frozen chicken. I have got my equipment and will start in January by God's grace. I will appreciate any general advice or input about the market. Has anyone here done something similar? Isit possible to work out chicken table weight from live weight? etc.
