Preparing from now onward is not to early, preparing late can be dangerous. Make good decisions for urself always remembering that it's once in a year and a mistake cannot be afforded.

Over the years, since 2012 to be precise, which happened to be the year I got into the polytechnic, I had closely monitored the process. That gave me an overview of the process and how it happens yearly in most schools. It is however subject to change due to the undecisive nature of our government. I would encourage both graduates and undergraduates of the poly to monitor the process before picking a school.Information is also very important. If you fail to know when the transcript is to be submitted, you are out, fail to have the right subject combination forthe course at O/level, u're out. So many other issues are of great importance too, pay attention to the thread.

I have seen a 3.72 candidate that was not offeredadmission by funaab. Don't always think you have the GP and you have arrived, schools like funaab won't hesitate to throw your transcript in the bin if you don't take necessary actions.

On my experience, OAU, Ife gives ND candidates a fair change as their A/level counterparts, if you have upper credit and you want a federal school, OAU is simply the best. Mind you, even with HND,you would start from 200L.

A/level candidates would prefer UI, have good points and pray, and you are an undergraduate already. However, for ND candidates especiallythose going for engineering, pls have distinction. Upper can be dangerous.

FUNAAB is a case, I won't go there please.

Unilag admits her diploma majorly. However, if you finished with a distinction at ND or HND level from the school of engineering or environmental science from a reputable polytechnic possessing a credit pass in Further maths and have your o/level at one sitting, it's safe to call you an undergraduate already. I am a living testimony. However, unilaggives special preference to YABATECH students. I must admit, those guys are smoking hot. I have met them. A/level candidates stand a good chance too.

I wish all candidates best of luck. We hope to see your testimony threads at the end of the process.

My bosses would be of great help too.Ibadanfinest and lanodinho.

Thank God for this thread. I have always wanted to know how DE works. I am a part-time yabatech student studying Bus. Admin with a CGPA of 3.45. Bt working hard this final session to improve d GP into a Distinction. I want to know how possible it is to get adm into unilag via DE to study accountancy. Could this be possible?

It isn't possible bro. Unilag admits national diploma candidates into only the faculty of engineering and environmental science. My advice is you ensure you get regularised and try to end it with a distinction.

I was with a 300l student of accounting in OAU today and I asked him how many candidates were admitted along with him through DE and he said close to 100. I would enjoin you to go for OAU, they admit ND candidates a lot.

I would encourage you to choose funaab. A friend who happened to have finished before u in the same FPI told me about 3 days ago that funaab offered her admission for this same course on merit. She wouldn't lie to me, I believe she got it on merit. However, if you have good connection, it would be a plus on ur side.
