Good Morning fellow Nairalanders. My subscription was renewed last night and I was given 200% bonus. The "issue" is that bandwidth is being deducted from my main subscription first instead of the bonus. This has been the situation for about three months. Whenever I'm given bonus data after recharge, I end up not using it as it expires before my subscription. So I'm asking. Has anyone gotten this MASSIVE Airtel bonus or experiencing this issue?

Op, Airtel hasn't made any mistake. They are giving out 6gb for just N1,500 but I think it selects sims. So go ahead and enjoy the festive period. Don't forget to share and gift your data, this is season of love...

No. I just recharged 1k and minutes later it was renewed. Like someone wrote below, it's a bonus they're giving this festive period (up to 6gb 4 1k) but it selects SIM so I think if you subscribe you'll still get it. But you may want to call CC first to find out if your SIM is eligible.

Wow. Good to know. Though the issue is not about whether or not they made a mistake but the fact that my subscription runs in such a way that until data on my main account is exhausted, I'm unable to use any bonus aloted to me. I know it shouldn't be a problem in this case since they expire the same day but it has cost me before on Simple Surf as after the data on my main account was exhausted, I was not allowed to use the Simple Surf bonus data, probably because Simple Surf was discontinued but I don't want to take any chances this time.
