I believe I am in the right section. I'm 22 and a graduate (B.Sc Physiology). I'll be passing out from NYSC by March 2017. So I visited home for Xmas and my dad came up with two wonderful ideas grin. He said once I'm done with service, I'll pick a Direct Entry form for Medicine & Surgery and also an M.Sc form for Physiology. He has promised to sponsor whichever comes my way. So my question here is...which do I go for? Which should I take as a priority assuming I'm offered admission in both disciplines.
it all depends on what you want. Do you have the passion for Mbbs or will you prefer to continue with physiology.

of course. Where there is life there is hope. You stand a good chance cos hnd don't usually apply much. Hope your upper is a very strong one though. Ui has reduced their quota for admission

Honestly? Grade point strength counts for zilch as far as it's upper. If it were to be distinction however, say maybe 3.7 upwards, then the applicant stands a chance.

Not to dissuade you or anything, but I was in U.I.'s "Room 5" when an officer for science faculty was going on about U.I. planning to be more stringent with O'level usage in selecting prospective undergrads. So, I'd advise you get a WAEC form and hit the study room hard.

the difference between distinction and upper is in grade point. And he is applying with hnd not Ond where the competition is stiff.

don't scare people unnecessarily. Olevels are important for utme applicants but not so much for DE except the competition is too stiff.

Larry, said FUNAAB is sure but I think UI is better because I've heard different stories of how FUNAAB denied people admission.

But if na FUNAAB you like, just give it a try. A sister from my school made it to FUNAAB last year with upper credit.

I can't say. With 50:50 being shared between alevels and degree and ui giving preference to their alumni I can't say. Only God can. Don't loose hope though. I've met someone that was admitted
