Why do you want snow in Nigeria? It is like wishing for hurricanes and tsunamis in Nigeria. It seems to me that you equate snowing with fun and excitement as may have been depicted in a few films and books. Snow comes with its own environmental and health problems too and we have enough issues here in Nigeria to add these to.

It doesn't snow in the states of California, Texas and Florida and the towns and cities of these states have become magnet for tourists escaping bitter winters elsewhere. Nigeria can harness our burning sunlight and harmattan to create a tourism paradise for Europeans and Asians escaping the snowy seasons. That is if only we can firstly find ways to resolve the madness of boko haram, Nigerian army and police, corrupt immigrations and customs, IPOB, militants, kidnappers, herdsmen, fraudsters, ritual killers, religious fanatics, superstitious folks, jungle justice mobs and deranged politicians who have bedevilled us for so long.

For naija na dust be our snow. What a bizarre and weird country.

Yes, under extreme temperature conditions, some snowing is experienced in certain parts of the Adamawa plateau which covers from the Jos highlands to mount Cameroon.

However, this is not heavy and is quickly dissipated as the temperature rises.

Sub zero temperature is required for atmospheric water to solidify into snowflakes. So unless Obudu cattle ranch attains freezing conditions of below the temperature of your freezer at home, you won't have snowfall there.

Why do you think your country is bizarre cuz it doesn't snow there? it doesn't snow in half of the USA and Australia! There is more desert and Savannah regions in America than is in Nigeria.

Why do you wish for snow in your country? It does not snow in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The city of Miami in the USA was created as a place of refuge for old people whose health could no longer bear the extreme winter cold up north. Snow may seem exotic to you here but it is not exactly what you have cracked it up to be.
