Not yet oo.. I don spend pounds tire calling them. Will try calling again tomorrow. Do u have any alternative way to sort that out?

@justwise @OlowoB and other members, I'm not sure you guys remember my case. I was the one that lost my scholarship cos I cud not save enough for maintenance. Now I do and I will be travelling with my partner.

I will appreciate any advice coming from you all in order to have a successful visa application process. I started counting my 28days from 25th November. I have my CAS already.
My questions
1) Can I print the statement out on the 23rd Dec.( Pls note that my resumption date is 11th Jan 2017)

2) My partner has applied to renew his passport since a month ago at Ikoyi but they kept saying 'no booklet yet' . Can we go ahead and apply using his old passport which will expire in April 2017 while we wait for the new one?

3) Is black market the only way to pay for the visa fees & health surcharge or can you suggest any other means.

I just received an email today that my passport is ready for collection. I'd give a brief overview of the whole process and when I get my passport I'd drop the full transcript.

Application submitted(ABUJA VAC CENTRE): 7th December, 2016
Appointment date: 14th December, 2016.
Received by UKVI in Sheffield: 15th, December 2016.
Notification mail for documents dispatched: 6th January, 2017.

*I'm going for an undergraduate degree
*I didn't even get a mail that a decision has been made
*I paid for courier
*It took approximately 14 working days to get a mail that my documents have been dispatched.


I wasn't utterly perfect, but I'm just being hopeful that my application would be successful. With God, nothing is impossible.

Received in Sheffield: 14th December 2016
Decision Email: 4th January 2017
Collection Email: 4th January 2017

I'm going to Sheffield Hallam University.

The questions are random but very easy. Questions like why choose UK, why choose your course, your start and end date, name of school, financial status, accommodation, your plans after studies, your course contributions in the future, health status, etc.

Both. Finished one (BSc) in Greenwich and starting the other at GCU

The timing is not bad as people get reply in less than 15 working days usually. I guess you will get collection email from them next week.
