You come on nairaland to talk about your joblessness and how you have suffered, and you see people advising and some even opting to help, but at the end, you discover it was all but a show. No one wants to help.....Nobody wants to help, even if they can. I even doubt if any man helps any man these days. Mostly they prefer to help women! I've had about 4 different Nairalanders that have opted to help, but they just stop replying when you send them the mail or CV they requested.

You lay on your bed every night, thinking, sometimes praying and crying.. ..soaking your pillows with tears, but it just seem like God is just far away.

The truth is.. ...nobody cares! Nobody gives a damn about you. If you like kill yourself inside your room......nobody cares! You don't have a job for 20 years, nobody cares! You discover that the more you tell people your problems the more they mock you and use you as a topic of discussion, and the more you get frustrated. Nobody helps anybody again in Nigeria.

This is to me and all those nairalanders like me, coming to seek for help......coming to seek for job.....Stop begging for job, stop hoping that someone will help you here. Drop that your certificate, in fact go and hide it(i just did that today) Go out there, carry concrete-in-pans on your head and climb a 3- storey building, wash toilets, carry loads for people, work as labourer on site, carry packages from container to store, carry cement, do all sorts of dirty jobs and make money.. ....no matter how small. At least you won't beg anyone, or hope on anyone.

Reminds me of my first job as a graduate
I worked in a Kora company as a casual for 6 months. My friend then was laughing at me saying she'll never do that.
Today, it was part of my success story!
There's nothing wrong in starting small... Just do something. It's your dedication to it that'll pay off at last.

Call it pride or arrogance but one thing I can never do is coming to the public and ask complete strangers not even my close neighbors for help of any kind. My parents have taught me this. People always look for what they will gain in return nothing goes for free anymore it is the kind of world we now live in.
Op, i can assure you that once you eventually overcome this struggle all alone and accomplished your dreams and become a relevant person with much importance, you will now see how everyone wants to associate with you and offer help and assistance even without asking. You begin wonder where are all these people when you are all alone with nobody giving a damn about your life
what will be yours will definitely be. No amount of highly connected individuals can stop or help with what God has destined for you, exercise patients and everything will be alright before you even know it.

please don't stay idle. go out there and do what you can. be it teaching in a private school or doing marketing job. just don't be idle. Also be active in the service of your God. Be you christian or muslim. I know that there is a phenomenon called divine favour. Believe you can do it. Don't fake who you are not, both to friends and babes be yourself and things will begin to fall in place. And please be prayerful.

I dont think you understand how many millions in Nigeria are being pushed to Labour market every year and there is no business to assimilate them especially those that studied courses relating to business

In this country we need to get the electricity working well.

Yeah,even while taking up one of those job help can come.In my present place of work we have about five people who are now in different corporate positions but found their way into the company through factory work.The kept their different degrees @ home and got factory worker job with their school cert and the time came when we placed internal vacancy for some positions in the office they applied and presented their HND and Bsc Certs and succeded

All you have is thought and action. Think about that, and remember that.

All the millions and billions we dream about are out there in the atmosphere. Nobody owns them. They're just there waiting to flow towards anyone with the right thought and action. If you come up with a good idea, followed up with the appropriate action, you just might be a millionaire or even a billionaire in a matter of days, weeks, months, or few years as the case may be.
